Wooded restaurant parking, uneven ground

Restaurant parking area. We arrived at 1 a.m. The last cars were leaving and the lights went out. Clean, quiet, shaded place! About thirty meters from the road, with some traffic in the morning. It was impossible to find a flat spot, so we spent the whole night climbing around. Not far away, there is a beautiful view of Florence. In the end, a very good site.

Nice place, road is accessible again. However there is no direct view, as it’s surrounded by trees. You can only see the view when you’re driving down again. Very quiet.

Warning: the road is currently closed just before reaching the spot, probably because of a landslide. We had to turn around on the very narrow road; maneuvering was not easy even with our small van.

Marked as reserved for customers, but there was nobody there when we arrived around 8 p.m. Pleasant parking area surrounded by trees for one night, with a few maneuvers needed to stay level.

We arrived; the restaurant seems to be closed or abandoned. Maybe it had to close? We nevertheless slept one night in the lower parking area. It was quiet and there were no problems.

Beautiful view in the middle of nature and very quiet for sleeping.

Very difficult place to access. Coming from La Spezia, the GPS indicated roads forbidden to vehicles over 5 or 6 meters long. The ascent to the spot is steep, with narrow and not always paved roads. In short, check your route carefully both there and back. The spot itself is very pleasant, with a beautiful view over Tuscany. Quiet, flat, clean; we spent a lovely evening and night there before heading to Florence.

Very beautiful, but we spent the night in front of an abandoned house on the way there. Not possible with a vehicle more than 2 meters wide including mirrors; otherwise you get stuck between a wall and the side of the house at one point! Not suitable for motorhomes or wide vans ;)

Arrived at 9:30 p.m.! Very accessible, a great view, a quiet place in the forest, calm and no mosquitoes. We slept very well until 11 a.m. without being disturbed!

We arrived early in the evening around 6:30 p.m. The view over Florence is magnificent. The road is nearby and rather noisy. It is not very secluded from the restaurant customers, so we did not feel very comfortable and preferred to leave.

Great spot above Florence. The parking area is almost flat, with the road below and little traffic. The vehicle length can make access difficult. Note that this parking area is also used for storing wood; an Italian and his chainsaw woke us at 8 a.m., but our presence was not a problem!

there seem to be two different parking spots, one before the restaurant which seems to be a bit hard to access with a van (sandy). We arrived at the restaurant parking in the evening and asked the manager there who speaks Italian and Spanish if we could stay for the night. No problem.

Nice spot that works for one night. Early in the night, a car drove along the restaurant road honking. I am not sure whether parking in a restaurant lot is actually legitimate! Keep a low profile.

We went there on a Saturday evening, but the parking area was full with many young people. We had to turn around at night with our van on a very steep path. Access remains quite complicated high in the mountains. The view was magnificent, but if you are not an experienced driver, do not attempt it. I do not recommend it for anything larger than a van!

Great place, the owners are very nice. The restaurant does not open until 7:30 p.m.
