Been here?
Rantala Maja is a small family campsite directly beside the river, with around 7 campervan pitches and additional tent pitches. Electricity and water are available, along with a kitchen, showers, toilets and a riverside swimming area, but sanitary facilities are limited. A sauna costs 30 € per hour, and a covered barbecue shelter is also available. The river is popular with fishermen, and the campsite is generally quiet despite a nearby road.

Very nice site. A friendly lady who speaks good English welcomed us here, and we also used the sauna, which costs €30 per hour. There is also a toilet and shower there that you can use. Everything was clean and satisfactory.
Lovely place right on the riverbank.
As described small family affair, very helpful owners, quirky but clean and adequate. Yes there’s mozzies but you’re in Finland ! Slept like a train . ( card and cash accepted )
Unfortunately, poor value for money for us. There is one toilet and shower for the whole site in a small room, and it is not particularly clean either. On the phone we were told we could dispose of gray water, but on site we were simply told to let it run onto the grass. The people are very nice, but we would not pay €30 for this again.
Beautiful place by the river that serves as border between Finland and Sweden. Many fishermen come here, as apparently it is a good place to fish wild salmon. One public toilet, one shower, and one sink, but as the place is small, it was ok. 35 Euro incl. electricity.
Very picturesque campsite directly on the river. Great barbecue hut on site. The owner was very friendly. A little short on sanitary facilities.
Lovely setting, but only one shower and toilet in the same room, which is inadequate! Too expensive for the services provided.
A truly beautiful spot with incredibly kind people who are also very helpful in finding solutions. I did not have enough cable, and she gave me a cable reel to bridge the distance. With a tent it cost €30 and you have a beautiful view. The shower and toilet are insufficient if there are several people. We have to head north, so we are moving on now; otherwise we would definitely have stayed another night.
Small private campsite, very well maintained by its owners. I saw gravel being delivered in the evening to reinforce the paths after the rain. Simply call the phone number on the sign at the entrance and someone will be there for check-in within five minutes. If the sauna is not in use, you have an additional shower and toilet available.
Amazing place. The owner is really warm and welcoming. We were lucky to find a really nice spot under the trees and facing the river.
Small family campsite. One toilet with a shower. Directly on the river. We would come back anytime.
