Been here?
A beautiful off-road roadside spot near the sea, set back from passing places and offering views across the Arran mountains. It has a small private pebble beach, good phone reception and a quiet road, with the village of Skipness, its castle, cafe and smokehouse a short walk away. Leave enough room in the passing place for traffic. Donations to the Skipness Village Hall Community Fund are suggested.

There are lots of spaces along this road, usually back from passing places. This is one of the better ones so I moved here from down the road as you can park a bit further in. Great views across the Arran mountains. The village of Skipness with its castle, cafe and smokehouse is a short walk. The hot smoked salmon is highly recommended.
Another cracking Scottish spot ,make sure and leave enough room in passing place for traffic to pull in .been here 30hrs and seen 6 cars max .
Lovely spot.
I would not stay here at the moment. Unfortunately, a whale stranded and died directly in front of it :(
all the park ups along this stretch are fabulous, all with their own private beach! however, this one currently has a large, smelly, semi-rotted whale carcas so I'd probably avoid it for a while!
