Been here?
This daytime parking area is beside a harbor and bathing beach in a large nature area. Overnight stays are prohibited, and police have directed campers away from the parking area. Toilets are not public and are unlocked only during events, so they are usually unavailable. The site is near Medemblik and offers access to swimming and surrounding nature.

The spot is nice, but the police visited us at 9:30 p.m. Staying overnight in this parking lot is forbidden. They directed us to the marina, only about a hundred meters away, on the grass and for €22 per night. We had no choice but to go, but it really felt like being ripped off! We decided to leave the country the next day.Translating
You are only allowed to park here during the day. The police asked us to drive to the next official motorhome site at the regatta/marina.Translating
Beautiful, with drinking water. Quiet and relaxing.Translating
Pleasant and very quiet parking area. The proximity to the beach is great, and the small town of Medemblik is lovely to visit.Translating
No prohibitions signs (the other two lots by the large marina clearly posted “no overnight for campers), lots of parking space. Few cars with dog walkers and runners in the evening and then emptied out. Very quiet night. 10 min all to a cute castle in the village.
Nice free parking area directly beside several sandy beaches and a marina. No facilities, but a pleasant village center is a short distance away.Translating
I stayed here for three nights in a row. A wonderful place! You can swim very well in the IJsselmeer and there is a large meadow. Medemblik is also very nice for an excursion. Info: there are toilets, but they are not still closed—they are only opened during events! Otherwise they are always locked.Translating
The water was not very clean because of the geese. We did sleep peacefully, with a playground nearby.Translating
