Been here?
A quiet parking bay suitable for an overnight stay, with the beach only 200 m away and views towards the Lofoten. The road can be busier during the day but is usually calm after 23h. A toilet, water, rubbish bin and BBQ facilities are available; the toilet costs 10 NOK and has recently been working. The beach offers tables, fire pits and walking opportunities.

Wonderful place for a peaceful night. We are light sleepers, and the road was perfectly quiet at night! Down by the beach it is lovely to relax and enjoy the view of the Lofoten Islands. The toilet worked perfectly for us. The hike to Finnsæterkollen is fantastic—go a little farther to the summit!
Access to a lovely beach and walking area. You can make a fire, bringing your own charcoal, in the designated fire pits. The toilets cost money and were not working. A second parking area a little farther on provides access to the beach. Busy road during the day, but quiet after 11 p.m.
Great place for the night, with the beach right next to it, tables and two picnic tables near the beach, and easy access to the toilets.
Very nice, quiet place for one night. Bins available. The beach is a few meters away on foot. The toilet is a pit toilet and worked; it costs 10 NOK. Unfortunately, there was no soap, disinfectant, or toilet paper.
Ideal for a stop or a night, with little traffic, just steps from a small secluded beach.
No view of the sea. Toilet not functioning/closed. But a quiet spot away from the road, with the beach nearby.
We stopped here; it is very nice. We did not sleep here.
Turns out to be the most popular place to go to the beach for both the nearby towns, so filling up this space was not very popular. Better to park in nearby Melbu and rather go here during daytime.
The place itself is very good and sheltered. The road there is terrible in places.
Great spot in good weather for enjoying the beach. Parking is in a quiet lot, and the beach is quickly accessible on foot. Toilets are available for 10 NOK and are clean. There is a picnic table on the beach, as well as other tables and benches under shelter. Several hiking trails nearby are accessible.
Quiet and level, with no sea view but sheltered from storms. Clean toilet for 10 kroner.
Very quiet place with a beautiful view and a white-sand beach. There is a bin. It can accommodate many motorhomes.
Beautiful place to rest and sleep. White-sand beach, walks, and barbecue facilities. Wonderful views of the Lofoten Islands. Public toilet, 10 kr. Let’s take care of the environment. Breathe. Thank you.
It is the most beautiful parking area I have ever stayed in. Down below is a small white-sand beach, with many paths leading to it from different viewpoints. There are benches for observing, poems written along the path, and flowers of every color. There is a paid toilet and a shelter called ‘the heart house’ with benches, tables, and fire pits. Few parking spaces. Many locals. Let’s be careful not to intrude.
The parking area itself is nothing extraordinary and offers no sea view, but part of it is gravel and almost flat. Going down to the beautiful beach 100 m away, you find spotless toilets accepting cards, costing 10 NOK, as well as a shelter, barbecue, and bins. At 400 m, Ceramik Kafé welcomes you warmly with croque monsieur, waffles, coffee, and pottery made by Tüna. What a great spot!
Beach parking area, very good for spending one night, with a beautiful mountain view. A white-sand beach is very close, in lovely surroundings.
A great place to stay overnight. The drive there was wonderful. The beach was beautiful with a spectacular view over Lofoten. The modern toilet (provided by the municipality) was clean. There were only three cars parked so it is quite the opposite of the very crowded Lofoten. Can really recommend this place.
We stayed here for two days. The beach is wonderfully beautiful, and we used the tables and benches for dinner and breakfast. There is a modern dry toilet on the right-hand side on the way down to the beach. The night was very quiet. On Sunday, many locals came here to swim. We went paddleboarding behind the rocks. The water was dreamlike for observing wildlife.
