Rue Bois Jean, 5550, Vresse-sur-Semois
Been here?
This is a beautiful, isolated riverside spot surrounded by nature, with a shallow river measuring 30cm deep. Access is very difficult over gravel and can become extremely muddy, so it is suitable for a 4x4 or van rather than a 7m50 motorhome. A recent 7,5t camper with 3,65 height had difficulty getting back out. Two-day and overnight stays were recently completed without problems, but earlier visitors reported being asked to leave.

We reached the place in a 7.5-meter, 3.5-ton motorhome. We do not recommend it, as we could barely get back out. It is suitable for a 4x4 or van, however. Nice place but very muddy. The river is 30 cm deep, so it can be crossed.Translating
Unlike the last review from two years ago, we stayed here for two days and nights without problems and did not see a forest ranger. Only friendly walkers. Keep everything tidy and clean so this remains a beautiful place. With our 7.5-ton, 3.65-meter-high motorhome, the road there was challenging but manageable. We arrived from the Belgian side and left via the French side.Translating
Very beautiful place. Unfortunately, we were chased away by the forest ranger in an unfriendly manner.Translating
Very quiet, beautiful, remote place. I was there with an 8-meter motorhome. If you drive something that size there, I recommend bearing in mind that the return uphill is over loose stones, and after rain it is muddy and requires an experienced driver. It is ideal for an off-road camper or similar.Translating
Great place, very quiet, surrounded only by nature. A small stream and singing birds add to the atmosphere. Difficult access; I would not recommend it for a large camper.Translating
