A quiet, free picnic and parking area beside a small lake, with views of Bassoues Castle and the cathedral. Depending on vehicle size, there is room for at least 3-5 campers, and the ground is generally level. Toilets and washbasins were in order during the latest visit. Picnic tables and fishing are available.

Wow, great place directly by the lake, with a view of the Château de Bassoues and the cathedral. Depending on the size of the vehicles, there is room for at least 3–5 campers. The ground is generally level. It is hard to do better. The toilets and sinks were fine during my visit.
Beautiful view of the fortified town, ideal for a picnic beside the pond.

Nice spot right next to the lake. Toilets available. We did not sleep there because there were too many frogs!
Picnic area near a lake, easy to access, free, fishing allowed, very quiet, tap and toilet, not clean because of certain people who respect nothing. Otherwise, we slept peacefully, accompanied by the songs of frogs and toads.
We spent one night lulled by the sound of frogs. Superb view of the village. Orange mobile network 4G is fine.
