Forest parking, unwanted activity

Nice walks and a good area for the daytime, even if it is a bit busy. Definitely still a dogging site though, as the police knocked on our door to let us know we might want to move on since the miscreants sometimes like to leave gifts on campers! So needless to say we packed up and moved on!

Very nice parking place. Beautiful forest walking trail, with many people walking dogs during the day. Generally worth recommending.✦Translating

Main road leading to this location is unusually wide for a back road. Ideal for much larger motorhomes. Depending on how busy it is there are plenty of places to park length ways in a larger motorhome. Mostly flat places to park. Good EE and Vodafone coverage. Lovely walks in woods area. Very busy road daytime but for an overnight stop was just fine.

Can’t say anything about the view but it’s not good for staying overnight. We arrived and got instantly attention from the men that were sitting in their cars. One came really close to the van and looked inside. We left after 5min.

Plenty of room to park quite later on

This is nice rural location that is actively used for adult fun. Apart from people shining headlights at parked carsafter dark until midnightish it’s a sound spot to sleep. Nobody bothered me and leaving at 8am ish the road still hadn’t got busy at all. Maybe 4 cars passed from 5:30am until dog walkers arrived at 7:30ish. Don’t stop if your easily offended. Otherwise. Lovely sunsets and rises☺️

we left an hour after parking up. lots if single men paying ALOT of attention to the van. even going as far as walking around it too see if anyone was in it. We googled the woods after to find out it's a well known dogging spot which explains all the men parking, leaving and being back 5 mins later. each to their own but left us very uncomfortable after having the van checked out multiple times
