Picnic area, motorhomes prohibited

A small picnic area beside the Ariège, with a children's playground, limited shade, some flat ground and small barbecues. A nearby bathroom is available, but the area is prohibited for motorhomes and mopeds. During school holidays, young people and vehicles may create noise throughout the night.

Good place, little shade and close to a bathroom! There are flat areas.
Very good for a picnic. But during the holidays, a stream of young people's vehicles comes through all night.

Large site with a barrier limiting height to about 2 m. We were there in February and nobody was there. No doubt that in summer it is crowded and people party. Playground nearby.
Barrier lowered; it is not possible to enter with a motorhome.
Because of the unclear height restriction, we stayed overnight at the roadside without any problems. The river is simply fantastic.
We raised the unlocked barrier, but we didn't dare stay overnight. It is still a playground and a meeting place, with young people, workers and hikers, so not very quiet. Completely fine for a picnic break.
They have removed the height restriction, with all that this entails. It is like being at an uncontrolled campsite. Friendly people, yes, but it is chaos. Lots of people without rules, resulting in too much rubbish.
