50 Viale Calamosca, 09126, Cagliari
Been here?
Free, spacious parking close to Calamosca beach, a two-minute walk away, with no shade. It is suitable during the day, but evenings and nights can bring many cars coming and going. The beach and nearby rocky coves are pleasant, although the area can become very crowded and difficult to navigate at busy times.

We stayed in the second parking area. Ideal during the day, close to a beach and coves with large rocky platforms. We were alone. In the evening and at night, the parking area seems to be used as a meeting place, with many cars coming and going. Nevertheless, we had a good night's sleep.
There are several parking areas along this small road, which ends in a dead end. For motorhomes, it is better to park in the next dirt parking area, at GPS point 39.184596, 9.155181. From there, you can take a very pleasant walking loop on Sella del Diavolo and/or go to the splendid Cala Fighera.
We arrived on a Sunday in the late afternoon. Cars were parked everywhere, and many others were looking for a space. It was difficult to drive our 7-meter vehicle through all the people. We gave up.
At weekends there are cars at night belonging to couples who go to the parking area farther on. Also, when the bar is open, it plays music through loudspeakers during the day. But overall it is a good, quiet, flat place, with a mountainous area for walking and 20 minutes by bicycle from the city.
A very handy spot for climbers. Pros: a beautiful view, close to the crag, spacey, Sunday bus to the city centre (BusFinder app), rocky beach for swimming right under the parking, sandy beach 10 mins walk; Cons: very dirty, a lot of litter, noisy at weekend, locals in cars coming and leaving during night.
Nice, spacious, free parking area with a view. Close to the city and just steps from the trails to Calamosca, Cala Fighera, and Sella del Diavolo. Quiet. The only drawback is that the venue at the end of the road, very nice but quite expensive, creates a lot of nightlife, so many cars went back and forth until 1 or 2 a.m.
Terrible experience. It is Friday, July 19, and shortly after midnight. The venue “Le Terrazze di Cala Mosca” probably has live music, and as a result the parking areas are jammed, with hundreds of young people on foot along the narrow road, making it impossible to continue or turn back. Maybe it was my mistake, but I am not from here and had no idea. I got out unscathed by sheer luck, but it was genuinely frightening. Next time... there will not be a next time.
Beautiful parking area on the cliffs, with a lovely nearby beach, but there is a venue that plays music all evening until late at night. Too bad—you cannot sleep well.
Nice locals spot. Stayed on a Sunday but a rave started around 6pm till 11ish so that was an issue for me. Was left alone for the night from around midnight and carpark is somewhat lit up. Good sleep as was quiet after the locals left and a really nice place to wake up to.
As I have for several years, I visit this area as a reference point for about a consecutive week. Spectacular and peaceful spot. You sleep well, except occasionally since it is frequented by young people who spend evenings with music and other activities. But I must say I have never had any problems. Very busy during the day. In any case, it is my reference point!
