Campingplatz am Rhein

We arrived without a reservation. It was no problem to get a place for one night. The sanitary facilities are extremely nice. We later wanted to extend our stay by one night, and that was also possible. Very nice staff! We would gladly come again.

No booking (7 days!), they offered a pitch in overflow area with loud construction behind it, listening to an excavator all day didn't appeal to us. Watch out, the entry/exit is barely wide enough for two motorhomes. Leaving, we passed the queue and the low protruding roof of a decorative column messed our awning and ripped out a side light. Didn't look like we were the first to hit it either.

This campsite is worth the trip: beautifully planted and tastefully decorated, with very welcoming staff, shaded pitches and incredible, always well-maintained sanitary facilities. A small shop is available for ordering bread. Rüdesheim, with its charming traditional restaurants, is 15 minutes away. We stayed for three days and highly recommend it.

Beautiful site, with some shaded pitches available thanks to the old trees. Depending on the location, there is also an unobstructed view of the starry sky. Modern, clean sanitary facilities, although showers are available in only one washhouse—why? At check-in I would have liked an explanation of the site, as we had to ask about rubbish and wastewater disposal. Wi-Fi is unusable.

Beautiful campsite on the Rhine with more than generous pitches (not parceled). A great public outdoor pool is directly in front of the entrance. Bakery five minutes away. Sanitary facilities very nice and clean. ?

Located directly on the Rhine, close to an attractive town and a good starting point for hikes. The site is very well maintained and quiet, and the sanitary facilities are very clean. Pitches are spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. There is really nothing to complain about here, except perhaps that the Wi-Fi is not entirely stable.

There is a Harley meeting at the site on weekends, so we moved on after one night. We paid €46 including electricity and a dog, and that was not a comfort pitch with water and wastewater connections. The sanitary facilities are truly excellent, although showers are only available in the front building.

A very well-maintained campsite on the Rhine. There are two modern and clean washhouses. Some pitches have a direct view of the Rhine. There is a small shop and a little terrace where you can have a drink overlooking the Rhine. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Rüdesheim. The outdoor pool is immediately in front of the campsite. All in all, a very nice campsite.

Great place to relax. The staff is always polite and helpful. All the facilities on the grounds are in excellent condition. Sanitary facilities are top-notch. Very good location on the banks of the Rhine. Nice small restaurant with shopping facilities. Bread roll service. Unfortunately, only five stars can be awarded here. A premium site!

Beautiful site directly on the Rhine, where you can walk the dog well. The sanitary facilities are absolutely new, spacious and excellent. There is a small kiosk and restaurant where you can also buy wine from the region.

We stayed here a couple of nights. A busy site that’s well run. Sanitary facilities very clean. Easy to get into the village. We had plenty of space some other vans were more crammed in.

Everything is tip-top at the site: pitches large enough, clean modern sanitary facilities, clear recommendation. I have no idea which campsite my predecessor reviewer stayed at.

Phew... On a Thursday in early September, parked bumper-to-bumper like in a highway parking lot. No, this is not for us. But apparently there is a public for everything.

Amazing canpsite very helpful staff. facility new and very clean. highly recommend. We telephoned on the day to book no issues. close to town centre which is full of life.

A very good site, check in easy. The pitch was big enough with electric. Toilets & showers are perfect and modern. Shop and bar onsite, right next to a swimming pool which is very cheap for family entry. Short walk into the village, would recommend people to stay

A superb and clean campsite, ideally located for reaching the old town. The price is absolutely justified. We were delighted.

Lovely site right on the Rhine. Large pitches and nice, clean toilet buildings. At check-in, the staff spoke Danish. About one kilometer on foot to shops. The symbol indicates that there is a pool on site, but there is not; right next door, however, there is a large outdoor pool, with admission costing five euros for adults. We would gladly come again.

A really beautiful place with stylish sanitary and super clean. convenient location to visit on foot the old town with cycle pat at the door step. All the shops are within walking distance. We were meant to stay only one night but decided to enjoy the site and the area around for 2 more days.

Beautiful campsite. We stayed here for six nights with a toddler and felt very comfortable. Clean sanitary facilities with enough shelf space in the showers; hot water, strong pressure and included in the price. Small kiosk with bread-roll service and snacks. There is also a great playground. The location is excellent. All attractions are within walking distance.

we stayed 4 nights. Excellent site right by the river Rhine. Walk into Rudesheim along the river promenade in 15 minutes. 4 supermarkets within walking distance. The best sanitary blocks we have used. Recommended.

Very beautiful site with new sanitary facilities. Showers included in the price. Very well-maintained site with a friendly owner who occasionally came by to give our dog “vitamins” and cuddles. Premium pitches are larger than the others and cost a little more, but it is worth it. The site is recommended. We would gladly come again.

It was our first time here, but certainly not our last. Large pitches of about 90 square meters. Very clean sanitary facilities. Great mature trees.

Excellent location, five minutes by scooter to the Drosselgasse; friendly owners; very large, bright and spotless sanitary facilities; beautiful pitches in both shade and sun; kiosk with bread-roll ordering; small restaurant in the evening with delicious food; no negatives.

Great campsite with very nice and helpful owners! At the end of October we got a pitch even though the sign said the site was already fully booked. The owner also gave us great tips for excursions! The sanitary facilities are clean!
