We were there with a roof tent. The campsite is small and the lady at reception was very pleasant. The facilities were accessible at any time without problems, including showers and toilets.
It was an okay place. Quiet at night. We stayed for three nights, so we could take the bus to the mountains instead of driving around. We paid 400 NOK per night for a car with a roof tent.
The site is relatively large and located by the road. Fine for one night. The tent meadow is very hilly, and we had difficulty finding a level spot for a small tent. It was very inexpensive, though: we paid 280 NOK for our T4 and a tent for one night. Showers cost extra.
We arrived at 8:30 p.m. and, although everything was fully booked, we were able to stay for one night. Very nice operators. Very well maintained. Lovely barn with small animals. Nice grounds and facilities. Five stars from us.
A small campsite with very friendly staff, clean toilets and showers, and a nice children’s area. The petting zoo is more of an enclosure where you can see the animals, and the water area for free canoeing and SUP is directly beside the noisy main road, so it is not idyllic at all. For us, it was only suitable for one night. It was very quiet, though.
The reception was naturally unstaffed at 9 p.m., but we were able to phone the owner and were told to choose a pitch. There are great pitches for campers, but the tent area is unfortunately in a hollow and the spot was very wet. The price for a tent, at 200 kr, was unbeatable, and the sanitary facilities were very clean and warm.
Communication by phone was a disaster. At 6 p.m. there was no site manager on location, so we left again.
Lovely small site, with some pitches offering a view. Rustic and clean sanitary facilities. Grey water and chemical toilets can be emptied, and fresh water is also available. The owners are friendly and straightforward. If we needed anything, we called and they were there within an hour at the latest. The playground and petting zoo are great for children.
Small campsite, mostly occupied by long-term campers. About 50 minutes to Bergen. Very clean sanitary facilities. You can hear the road during the day, but not at night. The grey-water drain is inconveniently located for larger motorhomes.
Quiet, beautiful campsite with a small petting zoo. Each pitch has its own terrace, which is great for breakfast. The sanitary facilities are clean and centrally located. The washing machine and dryer cost 50 NOK per token each. Very practical.
Lovely, cosy, clean campsite, great for children! Small and welcoming.
Quiet place about 40 minutes from Bergen, near a small lake where you can take a canoe free of charge, and a pleasant park for children.
Great campsite for families with children. Large playground, air cushion and a barn with rabbits, chickens and piglets. Boats can be borrowed free of charge for paddling on the nearby lake. The pitches higher up are somewhat rustic and far from the sanitary facilities, but they offer a great view. Good value for money.
The young man at reception speaks English very well and does a great job! Clean, practical sanitary facilities; flat pitches, but not many. All services are available, but be careful when emptying grey water, depending on which side you drain from. Bergen is 45 minutes away. The campsite is very child-oriented; they are happy here.
Very friendly operator. We arrived late and could go straight in, then check in the next morning. The playground is in excellent condition and has been completely renovated. Petting zoo with miniature pigs. The sanitary facilities are older but very clean and well maintained. We paid 350 NOK for a VW T5 with electricity.
Excellent campsite. Friendly and helpful people. Clean sanitary facilities. The necessary amenities were available, but it was not luxurious. The campsite is less than 50 km from Bergen. Taking the bus to Bergen is easy; the bus stop is next to the campsite. Extra: free use of a canoe and SUP on the nearby lake.
The good thing is the location just before Bergen. Toilets are clean, but damp because the showers are open. The washing-up area is too cramped, with only one sink. Some pitches are level. Friendly but overwhelmed reception, letting in too many campers. Campers who arrived five minutes after us had to squeeze between tents and the hedge or park among the long-term campers. The grey-water drain could potentially flood the playground.
Okay for one night: 350 NOK for two people, a campervan and electricity. Neither names nor registration numbers were recorded. The pitch was shown to us from the reception window, but it was not clear where we were supposed to park. Nobody seemed to care, though. A hot shower costs 10 NOK per five minutes. You can hear the road, but it is not heavily trafficked at night. Excellent Wi-Fi; old but clean sanitary facilities.
