Shaded riverside aire, narrow entrance

Not very quiet. Away from the center, but we were only passing through. A very good option.

Quiet place and close to the center.

Narrow entrance with a wall, parking mixed with cars. Difficult to maneuver when full. It could be a beautiful area, what a shame.

It is not recommended to go there with a large vehicle. I continued on my way.

What is the point of a place if it is inaccessible? No space, no hookup. The place is permanently occupied. It would be better to charge for it. It is too easy to settle there and live at the taxpayers' expense. I think I will write to the town hall.

We give it 5 stars to thank the town for this free spot. Few spaces, 7, so do not arrive too late. Ideal location beside the river, with green and shaded space. Water and electricity available. The entrance is indeed tight. It may be missing a few recycling bins.

Free area for 7 motorhomes, with electricity. Unfortunately, 5 spaces are occupied by locals. The 2 at the back have been there for a very long time and take all the electrical hookups, and they even make their own rules. Apparently there are no checks by the gendarmerie or local police, other people who come to fill their jerry cans for their gardens tell us.

Perfect area for resting and visiting the city. Maximum 48 hours. Spacious and fairly level pitches. Quiet and free place with all services, which is worth highlighting. An Aldi is 300 meters away in the direction of Somport. Thanks to the town council for the initiative.

Only 7 motorhome spaces, the ones opposite are for cars, but 3–4 spaces are permanently occupied by users who live here, taking up the electrical hookups and even parking their car opposite. You can only hope to find a free space by arriving before 2 p.m.

Terrible, this parking area is also authorized for cars. Impossible to enter in the evening after 6 p.m.

The noisiest parking lot in the city? Traffic 24/7 on the nearby street. The spaces farthest away are occupied by vehicles registered in department 64, with parking apparently limited to 48 hours, and they monopolize the electrical hookups.

Site close to the town and historic parts. There are electric sockets. Dumping facility, we would not use the water tap as people using to clean toilet cassettes. The municipality wants these sites to increase tourism for their areas, which won’t work if people park long term. There are 2 spots not being permanently used, we watched 3 vans arrive and leave so money lost to local businesses.

Pleasant area with all services. Unfortunately, of the 7 available spaces, 5 are occupied by locals registered in department 64, with their cars nearby. How can they heat themselves in winter when electricity is free?

Not suitable for long vehicles and vehicles with significant trailers. The entrance is very narrow and is compounded by a busy and narrow road.

We stopped there for a TA on January 20. The place is quiet. It is the second time we have come here.

We arrived around 2 p.m.; five motorhomes were already set up. I parked on the car side, as I did not need an electrical hookup, to leave the available space for someone who might need it. The services work properly, but there is quite a lot of traffic during the day.

Unfortunately many pitches occupied by long stayers ruining it for genuine travellers who need to stay for one night. Needs policing. We could not stay.

Excellent stop in a lively town, the services are good and the electric points are a bonus. We were lucky with the last spot, seems to be a couple of long termers here. It’s a nice walk into the town which is full of shops and bars and bistros. The Lindt shop is about 30min each way, yes it’s expensive but who cares it’s chocolate and nice chocolate!

Many thanks to the municipality for this paved and level parking area. Services operational; I filled up for free.

Nice place to visit the town and take a fun adventure walk. Shame it is being abused by people who stay there permanently. Some traffic noise. Nice restaurants. Some spaces have electricity from one hookup; one is damaged and unusable. We did not use it as we are self-sufficient. Thank you to the municipality; perhaps a maximum stay of 48 hours could be allowed.

Location close to the town center, with all services including free electricity. Who could ask for more? It is better not to arrive too late because the spaces fill up quickly. Thank you to this municipality for making these facilities available.

7 spaces, quickly occupied.

Narrow entrance with limited signage. Area with 7 spaces for motorhomes of 6–7 meters. The night was quiet; a main road runs nearby, but the cars can barely be heard if you park at the far end of the area. We did not use the services, but we must thank the town council for providing areas like this.

A super little aire, free facilities and electricty. right in the centre of the town, when full there are car parking spaces opposite you can use.

This is my second time here. Still the same camper van hogging the spot. Good enough for a walk to the Lindt shop, 20 minutes on foot, and to visit a little of the town. Thanks to the Oloron municipality for providing this place for us. 7 spaces and 48 hours maximum.

Small but functional area, relatively close to the centre. Free electricity. Be careful with the entrance because it is very narrow and, if you do not know it, you will have to manoeuvre (you need to swing wide). Close to services and Aldi, 5 minutes on foot.

I am giving it two stars because it was impossible to enter. The navigation system told us to enter through a house. It was also poorly signposted, with no reasonably visible sign; at least, the only thing we saw was a tiny sign that was barely distinguishable. We left.

We arrived in the evening and there were no camper spaces left, so we parked at the end of the car spaces and were insulted by a woman who said it was her space and that she would call the police! Nothing indicated that it was reserved, and there were other free parking spaces. Not wanting trouble, we left.

Very convenient for visiting the town. A little far from the centre but by the river and a charming little stone bridge. Unfortunately, only 7 spaces with electricity. We arrived at 4 p.m. and there were no spaces left. We parked in the car spaces opposite, with no problem.

Entrance unsuitable for camper vans over 7 m. Very narrow, with two large pillars on each side and a right angle, all beside the road. Impossible in either direction. Indeed, there are small camper vans parked there. We turned around and went elsewhere.

The area is difficult to find without the exact address and GPS. Narrow entrance. We were lucky that someone else left, giving us a space. Services and parking are free. Be careful, some electrical outlets do not work. Quiet area for the night, but traffic passes along the street from 7 a.m. Shaded and green. Thanks to the municipality for this pleasant and free area.

The area is full today, 10 September. We only used the emptying and water-filling services. Would it not be sensible to dedicate this car park to camper vans? The demand is clearly there, and it would benefit the local businesses. Thanks to the municipality.

We did not stay overnight. To fill the water, just open the tap on the left with the hose attached and press button 1. At least, that is what I did.

We only emptied the tanks and went to another car park because this one was full. Thanks to the city for this shaded area.
