Forest parking, limited stays

Last parking area for motorhomes over 2.10 m. Very quiet. No signal. Access to the lake on foot: 2.5 hours. Access to the La Cluite parking area: 1 km.

Very quiet, isolated parking area with no signal; only vehicles up to 2.10 m high.

We spent one night in this parking area, on the higher and flattest section. Very quiet night in the larch forest. Lake Allos is 2.5 hours on foot; allow 5 hours round trip. No services.

Great place. Cycle or walk 5 km to the lake. Some local mushroom-picking traffic, but nothing overnight. Lulled to sleep by cowbells in the adjacent fields.

Nice, quiet place for one night; waterfall 15 minutes' walk from the parking area. Ideal for hiking to Lake Allos. The only drawback is that there are no bins.

Parking area where we spent the night in a van before going to the Lake Allos parking area the next morning. If you take the road before 7 a.m., entry is free. There are many spaces, but few are flat, and some are slightly elevated; you have to drive on a gravel track, which is easy enough with a van.

Convenient, in the middle of the woods, 10 minutes by car from the Laus parking area. Ideal base for the next day's hike. Very quiet! However, you need to be equipped against flies and mosquitoes.

Access is limited to 2.1 m before reaching this parking area. In the heart of nature, with lots of shade. The ground is fairly steep and rocky; it is better to go to the highest part, which is quieter and flatter. There is a 2.1 m barrier to descend to the next parking area, which is normally prohibited at night because it is inside the park, but tolerated for those already there that night. If you pass before 7 a.m., entry is free; otherwise it is paid.
