Unnamed Road, KA6 7QE, Ayr
Been here?
This flat gravel car park beside a loch, stream and forest offers scenic views, walking routes and several spaces. It is relatively quiet during the day and night, although hikers and day visitors use it. Access is very pothole-filled, with passing places for logging traffic, and there are no bins. Phone signal is marginal, and visitors are asked to take all rubbish away.

Beautiful spot, relatively quiet day and night even on weekends. I was joined by motorbike and tent campers for the night. No bins but it's clean so please help keep it that way! Marginal phone signal so you'll not have a good data connection without an external antenna or starlink. Ground is on a slight slope but one spot is flat
Beautiful location, spent a very peaceful night in our solitary van in March. Look out for frogs in the marshland! We collected 2 bin bags of litter though - a lot of it from day trippers. Lots of campfire evidence although fires are banned. Very pothole access road with passing places for logging trucks. We would return.
Beautiful spot overlooking loch, good to start a walk or two as well. Campervan, stayed on the gravel just before the closed bridge. Just so much rubbish again, why can't you all take it with you? Very quiet for our 2 nights. Looks like a favorite spot for fishing too.
The location makes this amazing, the forest walks are good too. Need to be completely self contained as it’s not set up to be an overnight park up, too many vans a night, any litter or disturbance will soon get it shut down
Fab little park up! Views of the loch, little burn running past into the loch. Just remember to stay self contained, clean up after yourselves and not ruin it for everyone else! Had 4g on ID mobile
Great park up at end of road next to bridge nice gravel area.plenty of walks. No rubbish or waste let's keep it like that.
