A truly wonderful place! The host puts his whole heart into it and we had some great conversations. You are welcomed here with so much love and we felt completely at home!

A nice place but be aware that the pools is not being maintained, that entry and exit can be difficult and that contrary to the description, you can end up being parked pretty close to other people. In addition the price was higher than listed here.

Deducting points because the price has not been updated; it is now €25 for a motorhome and two people. Five stars for the location. Points deducted because the pool is completely neglected: it does not look like the picture, but is green and covered in algae. Wi-Fi is unusable, 5G is adequate. Friendly welcome and good showers, but fresh water comes from a well, which is questionable, and there is no black-water disposal. The entrance is quite a challenge.

Super beautiful, lovingly cared for and relaxing! A wonderfully restorative atmosphere! We had a convivial evening with Anita, Cedric and a nice family from the Pyrenees: barbecuing and pétanque. Nelson, thank you for this special place! It is hard to move on.

Perfect stay as a family of 5. Children loved the animas, play area and pool, owners very friendly letting the children feed the animas pic strawberry’s and have some eggs from the chickens. Quiet night. All facilities even outdoor kitchen by the little lake/pond, air fryer disco lights microwave fridge etc. Electric and water at each pitch very well spaced out. We were 3.2 high and 8.3 long. :)

Happiness and serenity are here. Enter Courela do Ribeiro through a large green gate that opens onto a magical place. Drive slowly along the olive-tree lane. The price is €20 for a motorhome with one person, plus €5 per additional person over 12; electricity, shower and toilet, all comforts. An exceptionally warm welcome and sharing from the owners, Anita and Cédric. You will leave this place with your heart full of happiness and memories.

Dreamlike place! The peaceful atmosphere, the many loving details, the friendly animals—and last but not least, the truly wonderful hosts Anita and Cedric… Wow!! We felt incredibly comfortable here with our little son and our dog! We would have loved to stay many more weeks! Thank you for everything and see you next time.

We were supposed to stay just one night, but ended up staying two days. Anita and Cédric welcomed us very kindly. The showers are clean and the motorhome pitches are really excellent. We even shared a barbecue on the last day—such a great time. I definitely recommend taking a detour to this campsite.

Excellent farm campsite, incredible pitch, peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. Immaculate facilities. Our dog felt at home and our little girl loved the animals. Five-star welcome!

The access road is clearly too narrow for motorhomes—a small gate and, at least for us, olive trees standing too close together right along the entrance make it even tighter.

We spent two nights in this little paradise. It was wonderful. Everything is very well maintained, clean and straightforward. The pitches are nicely spacious and easy to reach. Even the entrance was no problem for our 7.30 m vehicle. Thank you again to Nelson and his team.

A wonderful, quiet place under a starry sky—that is how camping should be. In the middle of nature, among olive trees and holm oaks, with very nice and relaxed owners, simple and clean washing and toilet facilities, and even a washing machine.

I am giving four out of five stars only because there is no grey- or black-water disposal point; otherwise everything is perfect for spending a quiet night on a spacious pitch. The pool is a bonus—it is a place where you feel good.

Magnificent place in a superb region. Excellent owners, beautiful olive grove, and a swimming pool that helps you cope with the suffocating summer heat! Monsaraz, Mourão, the lake, wineries and pottery village are all within easy reach, within a 30-minute drive.

We spent three nights here from 08/08/25, €20 per night with electricity and water. What is missing is a place to dispose of grey and black water; there is one at the fire station about 5 km away. There are toilets and showers on site, and a pool to cool off in. There is also a lack of shade. The owner is very kind, welcoming and speaks French.

A peaceful place with a warm welcome—we felt at home. There are very good toilet and shower facilities, as well as kitchen areas. The pitches are pleasant, among the olive trees, with water and electricity included. The welcome booklet provided on arrival helps you discover local activities and businesses. We will gladly return.

Back once again in the little paradise of Alentejo. All services except grey-water disposal, which is possible at the fire station about 5 km away. All the amenities needed for any type of visit. Several toilets, a hot-water shower, washing machine and kitchen area with oven. Farm animals, swimming pool, playground, etc. Mr Nelson is an excellent host. Thank you. We will return.

Superb surroundings, beautiful, very spacious pitches, quiet and safe. You feel alone in the middle of nature, but with essential amenities—showers, toilets, hot water and a kitchen area—plus a pool, which we did not try. Thank you, Nelson, for your welcome, the tour of the estate and the explanations about the region. One to remember.

Nelson is incredibly friendly and has built a beautiful little paradise. Lovely grounds with lots of animals; our daughter enjoyed riding the little horse. The sanitary facilities are neat and the hot showers are good. There is also a small pool to cool off in. Top place!

Imagine the Odyssey: Ulysses landing on the island of Courela do Ribeiro. Ulysses had plenty of wax in his ears, but the siren song of Nelson, Edite, Anita and Cédric was so powerful that Ulysses would not leave for seven days. A dream location. A very warm and attentive welcome from Nelson, passionate and fascinating. The rooster in the distance, the sheep, the frogs and the gentle sound of bells discreetly marking the rhythm of the stay. It is difficult to stay only one night. Quality facilities, electricity and water on the pitch, a large space among the olive trees and a communal area available to everyone. An absolute must-see!

Absolutely loved this place ,So quite two pony’s roaming round ,Sheep in the field .lovely pond set up with picnic table .Electricity included .

Fantastic place, a true oasis! Warm welcome from Nelson. An ideal place for children: they can play freely and explore. The children were also allowed to help feed the animals and go for a ride on the ponies.

The access road to the site is very steep. Our 7.30-metre motorhome has a long overhang; we would have scraped the ground, so we drove on. A shame after the journey here.

Great place in a quiet village. You park between the olive trees. There're several toilets and showers, a kitchen, a washing machine (2 euros), a small playground and many animals. The owner let our daughter help feeding the animals (chickens, ponies, ducks, pig, sheep). She also got to ride on one of the ponies. Electricity and water is included in the 20 euro per night. Absolutely recommended!

A fine and beautiful place. Host Nelson takes care of the farm, animals and guests with a big heart. Everything worked flawlessly. I will certainly come again. Thank you! Obrigado!
