Ostseestraße, 17449, Peenemünde
Been here?
This basic parking area also accepts motorhomes for overnight stays and is a short walk from the beach. The current machine price is 25€ for 24 hours, while recent EasyPark reports still mention 5,75€ for 24 hours. There are no motorhome services apart from waste disposal, and ticket inspections are frequent. It is a normal car park, so outdoor camping behaviour such as tables and chairs is not permitted.

€25 for 24 hours in a parking lot. Campers are probably not welcome in Peenemünde. But I must also say that some behaved as if they were on a campsite—putting tables and chairs outside simply is not acceptable in a parking lot! That is absolutely selfish behavior. What a shame for this beautiful spot. Soon only wealthy people will be able to afford the Baltic Sea.
Dear Peenemünde community, how can you be so unfriendly toward campers? The €8 daily fee is okay, but €25 for 24 hours is disproportionate. It really feels like a rip-off, or like driving away a large tourist community. What a shame.
€25 for what? For a simple parking lot? Just another rip-off. We are moving on and spending the money elsewhere.
Going from €5, or €5.75 with the EasyPark app, to €25, or €28.75 with the app, is a step in the wrong direction and basically unjustifiable, apart from waste disposal. You have to feel sorry for the enforcement officers, who now have to act as scapegoats. The parking area should offer more. In the future, campers will avoid it, rightly so. What a shame.
The location was very interesting. Last year, €5 for 24 hours was excellent, but from this year it is €25 for 24 hours for nothing except proximity to the beach, hence the two stars. We also met a couple with a dog named Oskar here around this time last year. Unfortunately, we did not exchange contact details.
Paying €5.75 for 24 hours through the EasyPark app still works. Municipal enforcement staff check almost every morning and are friendly and constructive. The authorities have no sense of humor when someone parks across several spaces, blocks footpaths or roads, or uses the forest as a toilet. With common sense and consideration, everything works!
We spent one night here and arrived around 5 p.m. We paid €5.75 with the EasyPark app until 10:15 the next morning. Other campers were there too. It was pleasant and quiet at night, with only occasional cars passing. In the morning we saw the municipal enforcement officers checking.
New price at the machine: €25 per 24 hours. No longer interesting. Typical Baltic Sea: milk, milk and more milk. Holidaymakers will pay anyway.
Parking with a ticket—the tickets are available from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.—so overnight stays are no longer possible or wanted. One hour costs €2; a day ticket costs €8.
With the parking app it costs €5.75 including the fee. At the machine, a day ticket costs €25. If the app price is adjusted, this place is finished; you can get the same elsewhere on the island with services.
€5 for 24 hours plus a €0.75 fee. No idea where the previous information came from.
New fees from February 2026! From 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.: €2 per hour, maximum €8. A 24-hour ticket costs €25. Checks take place frequently.
Away from the hustle and bustle and pleasantly quiet at night, with a slight spooky factor from the calling little owl. Parked rear-first, our motorhome of nearly 7 meters fit as well. €5 for 24 hours is cheap for the area.
It was very nice and quiet here. We were the only ones. The restaurant 100 meters away was also open.
Quiet stopover, also used by four other campers on our night. The dog beach is about a 5-minute walk away. €5 for 24 hours is absolutely fair. Waste disposal for residual waste, cardboard and glass is available. Clean and recommended for one night near the beach.
We stayed here for one night. A very quiet and secluded place in the off-season. Excellent for the price. Four other motorhomes were here. There is plenty of space at this time of year. Close to the beach and very quiet. Please keep the place clean.
It is a parking lot, period. We spent one night here while passing through. Two other motorhomes were parked at a healthy distance; otherwise it was empty. An unbeatable €5 for 24 hours. The municipal enforcement officers came by early on patrol, so do not cut corners. In summer it will be very crowded, because the parking spaces are only as wide as a motorhome and the road between them could also be challenging. One point deducted because the parking options are theoretically very tight.
Quiet parking area at an unbeatable price (€5 per night). Close to the beach. Highly recommended.
Outside the tourist season, I would say this is the most spacious, cheapest and closest parking to the beach in Germany. But it is missing at least some toilets.
A great place outside the school holidays. For €5 on the Baltic Sea, unbeatable.
Conquered 2,5 hours extra to get here (holiday season, what was I thinking...), because of the traffic jams all over this touristic 'island' Zandvoort Holland mid summer is easier to access... So arrived, no parking space left, so gladly left again for a peaceful place way off the island (Ivenack Eichenallee, recommended!) Shame, would have liked to see the launch sites. Maybe another time.
Completely overcrowded in August; no chance with a 7.5-meter vehicle. We drove farther north. Unfortunately, from 8:30 p.m. and again in the morning there were millions of mosquitoes.
You can only park in and out easily during off-peak times. The narrow lane, with parking on both sides, is otherwise too narrow to pass safely. Unfortunately, most cars do not bother driving all the way forward into their spaces, blocking the already narrow lane for larger vehicles. Otherwise, it is actually a good, inexpensive parking area.
We were there at 7 a.m. The cars and caravans were packed tightly together. Apparently word has spread that you can spend the night here. It was so full that we left again.
As always, it was good when we were here. The restaurant is also excellent. The price is a dream. It is just a shame there are no toilets. We usually combine it with a visit to the restaurant.
Quiet and beautiful among the trees. Garbage bin available. Short walk to a fantastic beach. Best wild camping spot so far on Usedom.
€5 for 24 hours is a bargain for the Baltic Sea! You reach the beach quite quickly. My dog had fun on the beach. There are garbage bins, but otherwise nothing.
€5 for 24 hours, unbeatable. Close to the beach, with a bakery within walking distance. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE FOREST AS A TOILET. It is simply a parking lot without services. The night was quiet. It certainly was not our last visit.
Ideal for one night! €5 for 24 hours is a bargain on the Baltic Sea. You are right by the water, and the fish sandwiches are also delicious!
Great with EasyPark, no problems.
We had a very quiet night. The parking attendant came by in the morning, but there was no problem. You should simply not put chairs or anything else outside. The beach is very close and beautiful, and there are various ruins in the area to visit. We would gladly return!
As every year, a great stopover for one or two nights.
