We spent a very quiet night there. Fresh bread rolls were available from the baker around the corner the next morning, and the town is a 10-minute walk away. I give it five points despite the lack of disposal facilities, because the site is free! Thumbs up, Gotha!✦Translating

Perfect location, free parking for up to 48 hours! We recommend Mehrgenerationenhaus M17, right at the beginning of Rathausplatz, for delicious food and coffee. Excellent prices and service!! Lunch between €7 and €9!!! Then relax and visit the castle, museum, and old town with its town hall tower!!✦Translating

Simple pitch; lots of traffic on weekday mornings. Since the pitch is free, four stars. Unfortunately, some campers misread the maximum parking duration of 48 hours. These selfish people are annoying. But nobody says anything if you spend the night as the fourth or fifth vehicle in the bus parking area.✦Translating

We stayed here for one night, from Saturday to Sunday. It was okay at night; during the week it is certainly much noisier due to the nearby road. Very centrally located and free for 48 hours. THANK YOU, Gotha.✦Translating

Thanks to the city of Gotha for this place. You can stay and spend time here for 48 hours. Public toilets are about 30 metres away and cost 50 cents. If there were also water and waste facilities, this place would be unbeatable and very rare. During the week, traffic noise makes it somewhat restless from 5 a.m., but it is bearable. You won’t find a better motorhome parking area in Gotha. You may stay for 48 hours. Almost in the centre, yet remarkably quiet. The beautiful centre can be reached on foot through the park of Friedenstein Castle. Space for three motorhomes.✦Translating
