Unnamed Road, 31360, Funes
Been here?
A riverside countryside spot with pebble ground, shaded places and shelter from the wind. Access follows a small, steep and sometimes muddy path, requiring sufficient ground clearance and making it unsuitable for many motorhomes. The river is attractive, with clear water over stones. Mosquitoes are extremely numerous and can make staying outside or remaining overnight intolerable.

Very beautiful spot, but extremely hungry mosquitoes—unbearable even with powerful mosquito repellent!
Far too many mosquitoes!! Almost unbearable, but the river is very pleasant, with no algae, just stones.
Very difficult to find Very steep and muddy access Mosquito infestation (unimaginable), even with strong repellent and through clothing. Very strange atmosphere; I felt very unwell, and my dog was behaving strangely too, so we left.
The spot is perfect, next to the river, with magnificent sunsets and sunrises. Ideal for L1 H1 vans. For H2 L2 vehicles, it’s possible if you don’t care too much about your bodywork.. P.S.: lots of mosquitoes...
Use the route closest to the spot and use Waze! Top spot!
It is closed off with barriers.
Beautiful but impossible to stay because of the mosquitoes... Such a shame..
Great spot in itself and a beautiful piece of nature, but far too many mosquitoes. Despite mosquito spray and a candle, we could no longer stay outside after 9 p.m.
Lovely quiet place. Not difficult to find using Waze and taking the turn-off on the right to follow the river. The mosquitoes are quite hungry, so avoid this spot without mosquito repellent.
24/07/2022 Night spent from the 22nd to the 23rd. Difficult to find; the best way is to reach the river and continue to the path descending toward the beach using GPS. One car was there when we arrived, but it left quickly, waving goodbye. Peaceful night, lots of wind and no mosquitoes at all! The river is a little cloudy with a strong current, but it’s a top spot! Thank you.
