This private, wooded and partly shaded property near Lyon accepts tents and vans, but not motorhomes, with booking mandatory. A van can park on the property, while a garden area suits tents; facilities include a composting toilet, solar shower, drinking water and electricity. Guests are welcomed from 4 pm to 8 pm for a maximum of 4 consecutive nights, at €10 per night for one person and €5 for each additional person. The bus stop 500 meters away reaches central Lyon in 30 minutes, and the parking spot has a distant view of the city’s spires.

Perfect spot for visiting Lyon easily, with a distant view of the city’s spires from the parking spot. Simple hand-built facilities with rustic chic! The convivial hosts are so welcoming and kindly answered my questions about bus routes before arrival. We were even invited to join them for drinks on their terrace.
