Camping Melissa, 270 50, Kastro-Kyllini
Been here?
A well-kept campsite beside a sandy, shallow beach that is suitable for children, with divided pitches and shaded areas. It offers clean sanitary facilities, a restaurant, bar, and well-stocked mini market, while WiFi is very limited and waste is not separated. Recent guests stayed with a 7.50m vehicle and 3.10m height in a sea-view front-row pitch. Four nights for two adults and two children cost 33 euros per night.

Five stars plus. Everyone at the site is incredibly kind and friendly. The sanitary facilities are very clean. We stayed here with a vehicle 7.5 m long and 3.1 m high, in the front row with a sea view. The pitch was large enough to put out the awning. Four nights for two adults and two children: €33 per night. We really enjoyed our time. There are several fixed parasols on the sandy beach. The sea is shallow and you can walk far out.
With its sandy beach, gently sloping sandy cove without aquatic plants, very good mini-market and friendly owner family who speak some German, this was one of the nicest stays of our entire holiday in Greece. The front row is reserved for holiday guests. The taverna serves dishes such as moussaka and slow-cooked food every day.
Nice campsite with clearly separated pitches. There are many shaded pitches at the top, which is really pleasant in warm weather. The sanitary facilities, with women’s and men’s areas in one building, are clean and perfectly adequate. Reception was okay, but could have been a little warmer and more personal.
One of the best campsites we have stayed at. We appreciated the pitches with landscaped separations, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, and the friendliness and availability of the owner.
The beach is very suitable for children, with fine sand and shallow water. The sanitary facilities are excellent. Unfortunately, rubbish is not separated at all; it hurts not to separate glass, aluminum and plastic, so one star deducted. Another star deducted because Wi-Fi/internet is almost nonexistent. The pitches are shaded and pleasant.
Our first real three-day break enjoying the beach and sunset. We came in early April with a motorhome: two adults, two children and electricity, €84. Good and less good points: pluses were the overall appearance of the campsite, modern sanitary facilities and showers, several pitches with sea views, and the quietness. Minuses were the steep, rough beach access, unsuitable for everyone, and the beach and surrounding area were not maintained when we were there.
Fabulous campsite with wonderful sunset views! We were there for a week in early October. The facilities are very clean. Friendly, helpful and easygoing staff. Great self-service restaurant with tasty food at very reasonable prices. Well stocked mini market. We really enjoyed our stay here and we will return!
As described previously, the beach is almost inaccessible from the site, especially for older guests. Of the four men’s showers, one had a broken door and two others had defective showerheads. The food in the self-service restaurant, which is otherwise good, is unfortunately only lukewarm from the start, despite there being enough staff. In addition, the two dogs belonging to the site constantly run between the tables, despite the leash requirement.
Nice campsite right by the sea. BUT unfortunately the surf reaches so close to the site that the beach cannot be used at all. No swimming or walks are possible. It may be seasonal, but even the front row has already been eroded by the waves. Inconvenient for us as dog owners.
Absolutely faultless! We came across it by chance, and what a surprise! Very welcoming staff, affordable price (€23 including tax), a very well-stocked shop, a great restaurant and a lovely bar. Numerous new sanitary facilities, pleasant, green and spacious pitches. A significant plus in Greece: all services are available, including gray-water disposal!
Our visits were on September 1 and 2, 2025, then September 24 and 25, 2025. A luxurious, flower-filled campsite with a restaurant, a partly pebble beach, a beach bar, new sanitary facilities and a small supermarket. Everything included: €30 at the beginning of September, then €23 at the end of September. A campsite to recommend.
Very nice place, directly by the sea. Friendly owners, clean sanitary facilities, a small taverna and mini-shop. Everything you need.
A great place with warm-hearted owners. Some pitches in the front row are suitable only for 4x4 vehicles, but there are also pitches for ordinary campers. We had a lovely time here. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food, and the bar was very sociable in the evenings. We would be happy to return.
We spent two nights there. Two people and a VW van: €24 per night. In itself, it is a beautiful and well-maintained site. The showers and toilets were always clean (bring your own toilet paper). Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the sea. The entrance is partly very rocky and the water is rather murky. There was, however, a well-stocked mini-market and a restaurant.
Nice campsite with shaded pitches. The owners and staff were all very friendly. The food in the canteen was okay and the mini-market well stocked. The beach was wonderful, with crystal-clear water and soft sand. One star deducted for the sanitary facilities, which were cleaned only once a day and not very thoroughly. Still absolutely recommendable; we will certainly return!
A wonderful campsite: clean, well maintained, friendly service, affordable prices in the low season, and right on the beach. The sandy beach is very shallow but has many stones in the water at the entrance.
Really great campsite with very friendly owners. Very helpful. The beach did not completely convince us.
We stayed here spontaneously for three nights. Most of the pitches are somewhat small. We got a pitch right by the sea with a fantastic view. The owners are very friendly. Price for two adults and two children including electricity: €36 per night. Unfortunately, the beach is already eroding, but the water remains relatively shallow. The food at the small taverna outside was better. Everything was fairly clean. We would gladly come again.
Very nice campsite with pitches facing the sea. The sanitary facilities were very clean. The owners were very friendly, and there is everything you need: a bar, restaurant and market. We did not eat at the campsite restaurant, so I cannot comment on it. We paid €30 all-inclusive for a van and two people.
Good campsite with clean facilities and spacious pitches. Too bad the beach is so small. I recommend it.
Great place, everyone is very friendly and uncomplicated. The bar and restaurant have fair prices; €30 for the two of us with a van is very reasonable. Everything is clean, the beach is very narrow but stretches for kilometers, and the water is crystal clear. One star deducted because of the toilets. We are staying here for a week because we have a pitch by the beach.
At the moment, this is one of the best campsites I have found in Greece: modern, clean, tidy, well organized and with friendly staff. I was lucky to find a place in the front row by the sea, and the sunset view is fantastic.
Everything very clean, hot water, beautiful shallow beach—ideal for small children. Great pitches right by the sea, all rather sunny despite the tall hedges, self-service restaurant, water at nearly every pitch. Only drawback: poor Wi-Fi, although that was no problem for us. Gladly again :)
Top spot—clean and beautiful beach, great toilets and showers—everything excellent.
Excellent campsite. Everything has been said in the previous comments.
Great site. Very friendly staff. Good mini-market. Nice self-service restaurant. Wonderful sea. Extremely well-functioning sanitary facilities. Everything is kept clean! The only issue is that some guests repeatedly leave the service facilities filthy. But that is not the fault of the site management, which cares about order and cleanliness. We had four wonderful days. We give it the highest rating!
A great site—we have been coming here for 25 years, with some interruptions of course. It is always a must when we are in Pelo. We paid €23 including electricity for two people and a motorhome.
Great campsite with everything you need. Very friendly staff and excellent Greek cuisine in a small restaurant. On the beach 400 metres to the right there is also a small taverna. The fish was perfect. Wi-Fi is not good at all pitches, but who needs that on holiday? The sanitary facilities are spotless and cleaned several times a day. Best regards.
Lovely campsite, friendly owners and staff. On site self serve restaurant food was very nice. The onsite mini market has lots of essentials you may need, including food, snacks and drinks amongst other things. The showers are spacious with a panel to place your belongings behind so they don't get wet. Toilets are very clean. Direct access to the lovely beach area. Great site for the price.
