7250, Klosters-Serneus
Been here?
Free village car park in Klosters/Monbiel used as a base for hiking, with a basic construction-site toilet and a nearby animal-trough water source. Overnight parking is officially banned December 31–March 31, and municipal police occasionally remind arrivals that overnight stays are technically forbidden, though most travellers report peaceful nights unbothered. Paid parking (about 1 CHF/hour) applies daytime; free overnight from 6pm–8am. Quiet and scenic outside peak morning hours, when hikers, cyclists and cows pass through; access is narrow and it fills with day visitors after 10am.

Just when I arrived the Police checked the parked vehicles and reminded me nicely that camping is forbidden here. Upon my enquiry he clarified that “spending the night in someones vehicle” was considered camping. He also pointed out that for this purpose there is a communal ‘Stellplatz’ a bit back down the road.
Very beautiful spot with a great view! We had a peaceful night and were able to sleep in comfortably, from Sunday to Monday.
A perfect spot. There were many campers, but the place is large enough. Very quiet. Wonderful mountain panorama. Good for hiking. Highly recommended.
A beautiful place! And one of the last opportunities to stay overnight for free in the entire Davos region. Unfortunately, as we discovered today, it is turning into a campsite with tables and chairs outside. It is a parking area where spending the night is permitted. Please stick to that! Otherwise this place will soon no longer be available. Thank you!
Pleasant parking area: free from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m., with a beautiful view and many services. The parking area is now paved.
Super nice and quiet.
From April 1, overnight parking is no longer prohibited. Quiet place!
We slept wonderfully here. Beautiful views, surrounded by cows. We arrived at 7 p.m., and there is no need to pay the parking meter until 8 a.m. The police passed by and said nothing; there were other cars around. There is a sign saying that overnight parking is not allowed from December 31 to March 31; the rest of the year is fine.
Very good location for spending a night and visiting the surrounding area. I went hiking; it is a lovely setting. A practical but not very clean portable toilet.
It is fine for spending a quiet night with views, but in the mornings there is a lot of activity from cyclists, walkers and cows!
Beautiful spot! However, the police told us in the morning that camping is not allowed anywhere in the municipality of Klosters. So use it with caution.
