A large parking area at a bison demonstration homestead, with space for camper parking. The larger overnight parking area is 200 m from the site, while one space is directly in front of the gates. Bisons can be seen behind the fence, and after some cars until midnight, the area becomes peaceful.

Nice place to stay overnight in the larger car park 200m away from the site. There is also one parking space directly in front of the gates. We had a chance to see a family of bison in the morning. A couple of cars appeared until midnight, but it was peaceful and quiet afterward. On weekends the bison sanctuary opens at 10:00 and they eat their breakfast, so it is the best time to see them.Translating
An absolutely wonderful place! Camping Le Verger is a real insider tip. I was especially impressed by the atmosphere: genuine warmth is found here, creating wonderful encounters. The location is also perfect, as you can explore La Rochelle by bicycle from here. An all-round successful stay—I will definitely return!Translating
