Olive-grove site, tool-needed taps

neat, clean, free, gorgeous views. uphill 15 mins walk out of the town, and you need your own pliers/multi-tool to turn the taps on. But the town is really gorgeous and worth visiting we found this to be an excellent way to do it.

Thanks for this parking area. It is free and right next to the beautiful village of Cazorla. We slept wonderfully.

It is appreciated that they installed this parking area. It is not bad and within walking distance of the center, but it is honestly too close to the road and there is some noise at night. And, as usual in Spain, among so many people there is always someone who does not respect others' sleep and stays outside the motorhome chatting late as if they were alone.

First of all, it is near Cazorla and easily reachable on foot: 1.7 km to the tourist office. The pitch is fine. Yes, there is a road, but it is not busy at night. Thanks to the municipality for providing a place with a beautiful view.

We are not giving five stars because there are no taps, and you have to use pliers to open and close the water. Otherwise, great: ten minutes from the town center and with very good routes from there.

Very comfortable motorhome area, with shade and good views. The water disposal and filling area is very convenient. It is about 20 minutes from the towns of Cazorla and La Iruela. Pancazorla bakery has excellent bread and other products. It is a beautiful area.

Very surprised by the positive reviews. Area beside a very busy road, with motorhomes parked right next to one another. The disposal area is poorly designed: with a standard motorhome you enter forwards, but must leave in reverse, as turning around is impossible. That probably explains why some people empty their tanks on site.

Comfortable and quiet area, perfect for resting and visiting the town. Do not follow the GPS directions. On the street where it turns when arriving from below, there is a no-motorhomes sign. Continue to the roundabout at the top, and from there follow the directions.

A very peaceful place with all services and views of olive trees as far as the eye can see, plus beautiful walking routes. Be very careful with the no-motorhomes sign, as they say you could damage the underside; you have to reach the center and turn around at the roundabout.

Very pleasant area with services, within walking distance of two villages and numerous hiking routes. Surrounded by olive groves stretching as far as the eye can see. You can stay for up to seven days.

Well located for visiting La Iruela and Cazorla. The town centers are lively, with small streets leading to squares lined with restaurants and bars. It is a shame that the area is poorly located and very noisy from 6 a.m. The drinking-water tap is missing, but I think that is due to users.

Great place, and you also have a nice spot, especially on the lower terrace, which is quieter. The upper road is not very busy at night either. It is great that a municipality provides a place like this.

Area with spectacular views of the olive groves, somewhat uneven and with a dirt surface. It has water services. It is 20 minutes from the town, where there are many things to visit and hiking opportunities. La Iruela is also beautiful and is higher up. Thanks to the town for thinking of us.

Area with spectacular views, sandy ground, and poorly levelled pitches. It is in the upper part of the town and takes 15–20 minutes to walk around; the return is uphill. A little farther on there is another paved area with a slope where you can spend the night. Recommended: visit the castle and take the guided tour, which starts at the tourist office and passes under the river. It costs €2 for adults and €1 for children.

Good place to spend the night and visit Cazorla. I recommend parking in places like this on the outskirts. We parked for a few minutes on a large open area in the center to shop, and the local police escorted us out of town.

Place with incredible views very close to the town, with grey- and black-water disposal, but with some slope and trees in the middle that limit manoeuvring for long motorhomes.

April 4: full! Many motorhomes come looking for a space, but unfortunately there was none. Arriving here on Saturday evening and leaving your engine running for fifteen minutes right beside another motorhome, only to discover there is no space, seems quite antisocial to me. It is great that we can stay here for free; thank you, municipality!

Fantastic area, very well located, with all services. To access it, follow the road to La Iruela, not Google Maps. The only drawback is the inconsiderate behaviour of some users who park despite there being no space and block passage for other motorhomes.

Excellent area, with spectacular sunset views if there are no vans in front. We stayed two nights. The first was fine, but the second became too full. I understand moving closer together when space is limited, but a caravan parked between two spaces; we do not even know how they managed to fit it there. In addition, they dumped their wastewater at night. Please, this is a spectacular place; let us respect it and not ruin it. The services work perfectly. Hopefully more villages will provide places like this.

Do not follow the navigator! Continue along the road toward La Iruela.

I spent two very peaceful nights with a good atmosphere. It makes you want to stay longer. It is near Cazorla and La Iruela, and both villages can be visited on foot. Grey- and black-water disposal and drinking-water filling work quite well and quickly.

Great park-up, with a walkable route to town. Magnificent views. Large, clearly marked pitches.

When entering the area, there is a side road that provides access to a second, lower level, which is spacious and has less road noise, although it is not as level.

Perfect place. I spent three nights here, visiting the villages and mountains by motorbike. All services available. Be careful with Google; it sends you down some horrible slopes.

Thanks to Cazorla for this area for vans and motorhomes. Hopefully other towns in Jaén and elsewhere will follow its example.

A beautiful motorhome site with views over the valley and within walking distance of the village.

The place is perfect, with beautiful views and facilities for fresh- and grey-water disposal. It is between Cazorla and La Iruela, although if you arrive in a large motorhome, getting around is more difficult because there are many challenging hills. It is perfect for a van.

Thanks to the Cazorla town council for this site. It has gray- and black-water disposal and drinking water for refilling. It is very close to the center of Cazorla and also to La Iruela. We spent one night there from 15–16 February, accompanied by five other motorhomes. The only drawback, if I had to mention one, is the fairly busy road. We spent the following night a little higher up, where it was much quieter.

Motorhome parking on the outskirts of the village, directly beside the road. Surprisingly heavy traffic, which can be heard. We found the view rather unspectacular. Water and waste facilities are available at the parking area. Partly shaded, so satellite reception is poor. Very good mobile reception. This is the last opportunity to stay overnight before the nature park.

Good place to visit Cazorla and La Iruela. It is beside the road, and both can be visited on foot. Quiet place with gray-water drainage, a toilet, and water filling.

Beautiful, charming villages with castles, viewpoints, bars, restaurants, squares, trailheads, and many services. We have stayed here on several occasions. Thanks to the town council for the facilities!!!

An area that does its job well, with very beautiful views over the olive groves. If you come from below, be careful where the GPS takes you; it is better to reach the upper roundabout, turn around, and take the first right. The village is spectacular, with many shops and little bars. The views of the mountains are incredible.

Although it is near the road, you can sleep well. You can walk to the center of Cazorla in 20 minutes and to La Iruela in 15 minutes, where you can reach the castle. You can fill up with water and empty gray and black water.
