Le Bourg, 46330, Bouziès
Been here?
This seven-euro riverside aire at Bouziës offers shaded spots with delimited parking beside the towpath leading to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (four kilometres on foot). Free amenities include a dump station and WC; however, the water-filling service is slow and expensive (€2 for under fifty litres), and facilities seasonally close in winter. Crossing the narrow stone bridge is reported as difficult for vans over six metres, though a longer alternative route exists via the D8 and D40. Mosquitoes are a known hazard.

Thank you for this partly shaded and reasonably priced area.Translating
For those worried about crossing the bridge with a vehicle 2.3 m wide and 7.5 m long, it is possible to go around via the Saint-Cirq-Lapopie bridge, using the D8 and then the D40. However, you may get scared because the D40 is narrow and winding, with dizzying drops and few opportunities to pass other vehicles.Translating
Very nice place. Very quiet in the afternoon and evening. A lovely walk directly along the towpath.Translating
We wanted to go there, but contrary to the reviews, we could not cross the bridge with our 6 m motorhome. Apparently it is possible, but you surely need to be an expert! Take this into account!Translating
Shade, beside the water and the towpath, 4 km on foot from Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, quiet, with toilets and a waste-disposal area nearby, all for €7. One word: PERFECT.Translating
The place is very good and the surroundings are unbeatable, but the water-filling service is a complete rip-off. For €2 you do not even get 50 liters, and it is very slow. I had to pay twice and still did not fill the tank, and it took almost half an hour.Translating
Well-marked pitches. Quiet place. Lovely walk along the towpath. Thanks to the municipality.Translating
Warning: the drinking-water and toilet-cassette rinse-water machine does not work. Out of service. Gray-water emptying is fine. Thanks to the municipality. Nice motorhome parking for €7 per 24 hours.Translating
Lovely place, especially right at the back. At this time of year it is free and very quiet.Translating
We spent the night here very peacefully. P1 was open; everything else was closed for the winter. Free at this time of year. We were able to empty gray water. We cycled to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Beautiful, and extremely quiet at this time of year.Translating
There are no services at this time of year, but it is a good place to park and walk the towpath.Translating
No services in winter.Translating
Quite large municipal parking area, quiet and close to the towpath leading to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. €7 for 24 hours until 15 November. Thanks to the municipality for allowing motorhomes to park.Translating
The marked location corresponds to the gray- and black-water disposal service point, including free water for rinsing the toilet, and €2 for drinking water. However, the marked motorhome parking is P2 and P3, 200 meters away, which matches the photos. It is a shame that the motorhome parking is far from the public toilets and service point.Translating
Warning: for the services, after inserting the €2 coin, press the lower button first to get water. The upper one provides one hour of electricity, but you must choose one or the other!Translating
The bridge leading to the village is quite narrow. The parking is perfect, very shaded and spacious. Very beautiful and convenient for getting the ticket from the machine: €7 for 24 hours. Services charged separately.Translating
Beautiful area with plenty of space to park. The €7 fee for 24 hours allows you to walk to Saint-Cirq via the towpath and spend the night peacefully beside the Lot. Free, well-maintained toilets and services—waste disposal, water, and electricity (€2)—are 200 m away. Thanks to the municipality for this effort. The only thing missing is clearer instructions for using the facilities.Translating
We didn't make it to the parking but access for over 8m is impossible on the narrow bridge. The sign says 2.3m but it's not possible to turn or enter. We went to another parking.
We stayed there for a few hours to go on an excursion. Shaded area, but no electricity at the pitch. €7 for 24 hours. There is no cheaper option for a few hours. Quiet. Services are separate: €2 for one hour of electricity and a few liters of water.Translating
Pleasant night beside the Lot. About forty vans and motorhomes with us, but fairly quiet overall. Toilet and sink 200 m away. €7 for 24 hours. Hiking spot for the Saint-Cirq-Lapopie towpath. Good spot.Translating
We stayed just during the day to walk along the towpath: €3.50 for the day and €7 for the night. Quiet. Worth doing.Translating
Where is the electricity? Useless.
Beautiful area in nature beside the Lot, waking up to birdsong. A few meters from the towpath walk. You can climb onto the iron bridge for a lovely view of the cliffs. Clean area with paid services. We did not have time to visit the village.
