Camping des Chardonnets

It is great. No frills, just the essentials for hikers. unbeatable prices for both camping and meals, and a really lovely team.

The setting is pleasant, and the sanitary facilities are rustic but clean. However, the number of flies makes the stay unbearable, so we did not stay.

Very good nature campsite where the pitches are not defined and you choose wherever you like. Most guests are hikers. Clean toilets and showers; be aware that the water is not very hot in the evening, though it is fine in the morning. Very good value for money: €12.20 for a van with two adults, without electricity. Bar and food available on site in a pleasant setting, with a concert on the evening we were there.

Unbeatable value for money (€12 for a van with two people and a dog, without electricity). No marked pitches, plenty of space. Very friendly welcome and excellent food. Thanks, Didier, for the wonderfully comforting meals. The sanitary facilities could use a little renovation. The road is nearby, but in the low season it is not a problem.

We stayed one night, but it was so good… I recommend it for a peaceful and restful stopover.

Thanks to Didier and his whole team for their dedication to giving us an excellent stay at this campsite. Pizza evening, concert, and regular entertainment in the open-air restaurant under the larches. Natural pitches with no fuss, just the way we like them.

Wild, but absolutely fantastic.

Very basic campsite, but that is what we like. When there are water and waste facilities and such a friendly welcome, it is excellent for us. Camper, two people, and electricity: €15.
