Large lay-by, busy road noise

This large lay-by has a 15' verge for protection and a level central area with room for 20 vans. There are no signs, one bin and a footpath leading into the countryside from the Whitchurch end. The road is very busy, reception on EE is weaker, and a loud HGV may make staying unpleasant.

There are 2 x lay-by along this road - on the previous night I stayed at the other listed on park4night. This lay-by is a little more flat, weaker reception on EE than the other. And I was joined by a very loud HGV so moved on. Out of the two options along this road use the other one! Road very busy day time and into the evening based on my experience of the other lay-by.
