Vineyard viewpoint, variable night noise

Free viewpoint parking above the vineyards overlooking the Moselle, with no services and open to any vehicle. Popular by day with hikers and picnickers, but the busy N16 road runs close by and can be heard clearly overnight, especially from early morning traffic. On weekends and holidays it sometimes attracts local youths gathering to smoke, drink or grill, occasionally with tuned-up cars, which several travellers found disruptive at night. Some report peaceful, quiet nights instead, so experience varies by day and season. Up to around 10 motorhomes, even larger ones, can fit without trouble.
