Stadium parking, theft risk

My camper was stolen here; everything was completely gone. Don’t believe the good reviews. In broad daylight, DO NOT park here! Go somewhere safe when visiting Rome!✦Translating

Very nice, quiet parking area on the edge of a residential neighborhood, spacious and open beside a football field. Residents also park here. Nevertheless, when we returned late in the afternoon, the camper had been broken into, the locks forced, and screws cut through. The Carabinieri advised parking with the door facing the open parking area and leaving the curtains open. Thieves don’t want to be visible.✦Translating

Excellent place for visiting Rome! We had peaceful days here and felt comfortable leaving the camper van. At night too, there were no disturbances or noise. From Labaro train station, you can easily take the urban train to Rome and continue by metro. Google Maps does not show departure times, but it definitely runs regularly back and forth.✦Translating

Perfect parking area for visiting Rome safely. We spent two nights without any problems, apart from a little noise on football-match day (Sunday). Maps says otherwise, but there is in fact a train from Labaro station to Rome; it costs €3.50 return and takes about 20 minutes. When I return to Rome, I will stay here again.✦Translating

Fantastic! Felt safe, locals leave you alone. Stayed three nights, left car there while in the city, no issues. Across from a soccer field, populated during evening events, but you can use the bathroom when open. Map apps don’t show the train line as a transit option but it DOES exist, fast and easy, go to Labaro station and go toward Flaminio. 20mins to Roma.

We stayed from Friday evening until Sunday, with no problems. Very quiet at night despite the many houses. Match or training days are livelier but not bothersome. You can reach central Rome in under an hour by train and metro (€2), and in a little over an hour by bicycle using the pleasant cycle path along the Tiber. Not suitable for large vehicles (maximum 7 m).✦Translating

Large parking area; we safely left our van for a day while visiting Rome. Ten minutes’ walk from the LABARO station. The train takes 20 to 30 minutes to the city center (FLAMINIO); the ticket costs €2 for one journey and €1.50 for the return when recharging the original ticket. The ticket is valid for 1 hour 40 minutes, allowing us to take the metro to the Colosseum. Quiet night without problems.✦Translating

Just as described, I stayed several days and over a weekend; it was quite peaceful. In my case, I used the rather beautiful cycle path to reach Rome, starting near the train station and running parallel to the Tiber River. It is about 14 km, flat and easy, and reaches the city center. Let’s leave places better than we found them. Thanks for sharing!✦Translating

A convenient place to stop to visit Rome. It can get busy if the sports ground is open, but otherwise you can usually find a spot. It's not completely leveled, but it's definitely doable. Possibility to use the WC when the sports centre is open, plenty of water taps around. Bins on every corner. Some traffic in the evening/at night. Spent a few minutes & left the van for the day to visit Rome.

Quiet and safe place. We left the camper all day while sightseeing. You can use the football-field toilet while it is open. Close to the train that takes you directly to Rome. Or one hour by bicycle on a cycle path directly to central Rome. Nearby park for walking the dogs.✦Translating

As mentioned, a day ticket to Rome costs €8.50. The toilet is as shown in the photo, only when they are playing sports. Otherwise, there is a café nearby. A large park nearby where the dogs could run free!✦Translating
