We stayed here for two nights and spent the nights without any problems. The place is somewhat uneven and there is little shade. We were able to buy a parking ticket from the machine.Translating
Great location to visit the castle and wander around the small town centre. Today was their annual Elvis celebration, which had a super vibe. Elvis performers at 1 end of the high street and karaoke at the other. Look for it next June! Back to the parking. There are a few spots at the bottom of the car park that fit an 8m long motorhome. On Sundays 2 hours are free and it's £1.40 for the day.Translating
Stayed last night and could not find any 'no dwelling' signs in this car park. It was present in another car park.Translating
Now marked no dwelling.Translating
daytime parking only signs all over Chepstow car parks saying no dwelling which means no sleeping. Translating
Actually a good place, but in our case five drunk youths arrived in the middle of the week and turned the car park into their personal disco. Very unpleasant. Unfortunately, we would not stay there again.Translating
Loads of space, not expensive, lively walk through the arch in the old walls, past the castle and into town. Interesting place to spend a night and a few hours wandering round the town.Translating
loads of space, need to choose carefully to get a level space. it's about 85% empty this evening, so no issues. There is a side arched exit that leads down some new steps to the castle and turn right, straight into town. Lots of nice places to eat from upscale to Weatherspoons..... all with 5-10 mins walk. It's about 10 minutes walk into England, just over the bridge.Translating
Simple but very spacious parking area. Even on Saturday afternoon, we easily found a level spot. Minimal cost, pleasant walk to the castle, and the nearby center has shops and bars. Excellent takeaway fry shop near the pet store.Translating
