A calm lakeside picnic area with a pleasant setting, used mainly during the day. Swimming and camping are prohibited by municipal decree, and there are no toilets or showers. The site is approximately 50m from the motorway, and three vans or trucks were permanently present in late June 2025.

Very pleasant, quiet area.
It's a small car park, with cars scattered everywhere, making manoeuvring difficult. During the week it is used by the high school, and on Saturdays by customers of the St Joseph market. Rubbish is lying at the back of the car park. It deserves credit for existing on the edge of the town centre. We spent one quiet night there. It does the job.
