Gravel parking, overnight prohibited

A quiet spot and great for one night while passing through. However, the parking area belongs to the Villas Winterberg holiday park and is intended for guests staying there. Basically, not much happens because most guests park in front of their houses. Arriving in the evening and leaving in the morning should be fine.✦Translating

We stayed there yesterday with a few other motorhomes. During the night, the operator woke us and said overnight stays were not permitted. A banner at the entrance indicates 8 a.m.–10 p.m. We were kindly allowed to stay for the night.\nTherefore only one star. There is a motorhome site not far away.✦Translating

A somewhat hidden parking area. We were there on Friday night into Saturday. No one else besides us, so it was wonderfully quiet.\nDespite the gravel at the edge, it was very muddy, but that did not bother us much.\nWe will definitely spend the night here again.✦Translating

We stayed here for one night at the weekend. Basically a nice place, but it was somewhat noisier during our stay. In the evening there was noise from the houses, probably holiday apartments, and in the morning from arriving cars and fellow campers.\nProbably just bad luck. There is a glass recycling container on the site. Practical in itself, but lots of glass was disposed of in the morning during our stay, which also caused noise.✦Translating

We stayed here for one night and it was perfect for us: we had a quiet night, and in the morning the parking area was reliably cleared of the freshly fallen snow. From the parking area you can ski directly onto the slope with your skis on, and you can return directly to the parking area on skis.✦Translating

Simple, large gravel car park with houses on one side and nature on the other. It was empty when we visited (out of the ski season) This is a very quiet area, please respect the quietness and local residents. No facilities. Note: there are recycling containers for the public (occasional local visitors use the car park to visit the recycling)

If you have to find a free place close to Winterberg, this for you. Silent big gravel parking place, nothing else. Good for one night. Be careful when it's raining, al the water is flowing down to forest side of the place. Haha, just realised, no silence if the neighbours have a party ?
