Overnight stays in vehicles are not allowed. We drove here for nothing, unfortunately.
Lovely beach nearby, three minutes away, with good access. Right by a small harbor where you can fish for mackerel and wrasse. The toilets are not lit in the evening. Slightly sloping parking area.
Lovely spot. Brilliant view. Nice safe atmosphere. Quiet night. Beach nearby. Friendly locals
Great spot for overnight stop with beautiful views. Very quiet night. Nice little beach on the point down the steps.
It was a lovely spot, great view , swimming spot, seaweed bath, little coffee shop within 2 minute walk, and toilets well maintained. They leave toilets open if there are campers. Other campers, too. Felt very safe and had internet access. June 2024.
This is a really great find if you can get a spot. The view is exceptional. In Dungarvan, do not miss the Tannery restaurant, which serves real cuisine rather than burgers, fish, and chips, at a very reasonable price.
Great place. We arrived this evening with two 6.40-meter motorhomes; a local 7-meter vehicle was already there. Water is available on site, in excellent condition, and there are rubbish bins. No prohibition. The small parking area can quickly fill during the day, especially in high season, so preferably arrive after 5:30 p.m., when the locals finish swimming. Completely free, with a magnificent view. Perhaps deserves five stars.
It is not possible to stay overnight here.
Very good for a campervan; avoid it with a motorhome.
