Been here?
This is a spacious, natural riverside spot with pebbled and level areas, small sandy access points and views of the Danube and bridge. Wildlife is abundant, and the bridge traffic can be heard. Do not drive close to the bank because the ground is muddy; stopping near the old barrels is safer. Mosquitoes can be severe.

Quiet place. However, we do not recommend driving too close to the bank of the Danube. The earth is muddy. We fought for 1.5 hours to leave. The car stuck to the ground. It is better to stop at the old barrels. Plenty of space for all types of vehicles.
This place is absolutely stunning. There’s no one around, even now in August. You can hear the cars on the bridge but besides that it’s all super peacefull and there’s loads of wildlife (lizards, birds, fish, insects). You even have your own private beach! BUT when I arrived the place was FULL of trash. I cleaned up everything and want to remind you all to do the same. Not only take your own trash with you, but also clean up the trash that other people left behind. Only like that we can keep nature, our backyard clean and beautiful. Thankyou
Beautiful natural spot with a small sandy beach on the Danube and a great view of the bridge.
Really a very pleasant natural place… plenty of space after a short passage through the woods. Small access points to the Danube and flat, stabilized pitches. I think it should be avoided during heavy rain, but otherwise it is perfect for a stopover or a night.
Mosquitos. We were attacked. Horrible night. Looks like a great spot if another time of year.
I liked the spot further down to the left because it is farther from the bridge and not as exposed. Unfortunately, the trucks can also be heard at night through the bridge’s massive dull rumbling, like subwoofer bass. There are far more than four spaces if you do not need to park right by the water. There is shade, but only at a few spaces.
Very peaceful place, with several parking options. There is not much shade, but you can cool off in the river, as it has access to a sandy beach.
Good quiet place, but can be very hot in the summer. You can go down to the river and there is a small (max.10 meters) long beach with sand, where You can walk into the shallow water. (Be careful, there is a strong current deeper in the river!)
Very good, quiet place to stay with a beautiful view of the Danube.
Very quiet place to stay; the bridge is not disturbing at night at all. We stayed here for 4 days watching the ships. Very little traffic. Anyone wanting to fill their gas bottles with LPG at the gas stations is in the wrong place here; there is no LPG in this town.
Very quiet and plenty of space, good internet, access to the water; all in all, a very good spot.
