16430, Saelices
Been here?
This remote esplanade beside the Castle of Saelices is a quiet place for daytime or overnight stays. It is reached by a 2 km dirt path from the road detour leading to the water treatment plant. Recent reports say the route is accessible to vans and motorhomes, although it has some holes and the site is slightly sloping. The nearby ruins are suitable for walks.

Very quiet place to spend the night. There are also ruins nearby for a walk. It is great for dogs, and the path is suitable for a van or motorhome. There are a few potholes, but access is perfectly possible.
Great place but slightly sloping. Cool ruins nearby. Just a few cars in the night on the dirt road. Little road noise. Spent one good night here. Really clean with no trash. Please keep it like that.
Do not follow the GPS to enter. The access road is long and bumpy. The place itself, however, is very quiet and flat for sleeping, next to an abandoned castle.
Read the comments: you must reach the wastewater treatment plant and take the path on the left. It is true that the road is not flat, but you can reach it perfectly well with a van. We came for a walk, but it is certainly a perfect option for sleeping.
We turned around before reaching it. Very deteriorated dirt road, difficult passage for a motorhome.
Very good for spending the night peacefully, with a very nice panorama.
Beautiful place to spend the night or stop for lunch. Ideal for going with dogs. Be careful if it is windy!
Good place for one night.
