At last they have trimmed the hedges that were blocking the fountain. There is a utility chamber behind the fountain with a clean-water connection. The gray-water drain is on the ground beneath the sign, though it was also difficult to see. More a parking lot than a motorhome area, tiny and very, very neglected. We arrived at night and two spaces were occupied by a truck and a car with their lights on, which did not make us feel safe. We left suspiciously. I do not recommend it at all.✦Translating

Very quiet place for spending the night. The motorhome parking area has only four spaces, but you can park and stay overnight without problems in the trees opposite and toward the crayfish center. We stopped here on the way from Cantabria and think it is a top-class area. Beside a park with barbecues, the river, and the Canal of Castile, all within an easy walk or bike ride. Palencia has at least 20 areas like this. This province deserves many trips by motorhome.✦Translating

Lovely shady places under the trees by the river. Busy town 5 minutes walk away with all amenities. Local summer public pool next door. Park for the children. What more do you need?

The road at the rear is unpaved. At this time of year it is not dusty. Construction machinery causes some noise there during the day. From 7 p.m. it is quiet. The service area is somewhat neglected. I would not fill up with water there. Toilet disposal is possible.✦Translating

Fantastic stopover - 2nd time staying here on the way to Santander. Services - drinking water, and place to empty grey water & toilet cassette. Nice and quiet on the banks of river. Short walk into the village where you can find supplies and various bars.

One of the worst areas we have visited. A dirt road runs through it, raising a lot of dust, and to make matters worse, the water tap is stiff, push-button operated, and has no thread for attaching a hose. Fortunately, there is a lovely park next door with a barbecue.

Bad area is an understatement; the photos make it look different. A dusty road runs right beside the motorhomes. Opposite is an abandoned campsite occupied by foreigners who have started bringing out tables, clotheslines, and so on, taking up the space of three motorhomes. The town council let them in. A disaster; I will never return, nor do I recommend it.

The tractors were mowing and everything became covered in dust. We intended to spend the night, but it was impossible. I would use it as a place for a short stop. On the other hand, that day it did not feel very safe. I think we did the right thing by leaving.

We were going to spend the night but eventually decided to leave. The machines were harvesting, filling everything with dust and noise. There were also people who gave off a bad vibe and made us feel unsafe, so we packed up and left for the Palencia parking area.

Not a good place at all... agricultural machinery keeps passing and creates a lot of dust. If dust doesn't bother you, this place is for you.

Ideal, level site with plenty of shade from the trees. There are services and an open campsite next door with bathrooms.

The town council should install speed controls. It is unacceptable for cars to drive so fast when children are playing here. There was almost an accident involving a speeding van and a child. My dogs had to remain leashed the whole time because we were afraid.
