Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
A secluded off-road spot beside water, exceptionally calm for observing birds and surrounding wildlife. Some fishermen visit, but the area remains discreet and respectful. Access is narrow and winding; the northern approach is currently flooded, so come from the south.

We stayed for three days, and it is an incredibly quiet place for observing birds and all the wildlife around the water. There are a few fishermen around, but everyone remains very discreet and respectful. We highly recommend this place. However, the exact location of the spot will be difficult to access without four-wheel drive, as indicated.
Great place; I was able to reach it easily with my Mercedes Vario. Warning: the access from the north is currently flooded by the lake; come from the south.
A really great place! We have a 4x4, but it was not absolutely necessary. It was quiet, we were completely alone, and we had a wonderful sunset.
This truly is a magical place, very quiet. Pictures speak louder than words so please have a look at the colorful sunset and the misty morning lake view. The place we parked is about 200 meters north of the posted GPS location. This gives you another spot to stay.
It's a really nice place. The access to this spot was fun, properly using my 4x4. Without 4x4 and proper ground clearance no chance to get here. But the path is very narrow and some scratches were made to my Defender. If you have a bigger rig than that, it can be tricky to reach the destination without damages.
