Lakeside parking, neglected and service-free

After twenty years of honourable participation in this app, I am disappointed by two undeserved reviews with a hasty negative judgment. That can happen, but judging after a half-hour stop, suddenly leaving without saying goodbye... Greetings. We invite you to enjoy the greenery, good BBQ food and pinsa, walks, and a peaceful, safe stop. Thank you, Riccardo, as everyone calls me.

We stopped, but soon left because of the neglected state of the place, which was also full of mosquitoes. It is confirmed that the area is paid and has no services.

I do not know how this place received positive reviews. We paid because we thought we had to. After two hours we left. The dogs are constantly there and growl when you want to go to the lake. Perhaps everything looked better here ten years ago. Definitely avoid it.

A quiet place on a peninsula, which is both a paradise for anglers and a place to relax. The atmosphere was very cheerful and lively, with families celebrating May Day together. We also enjoyed Riccardo and his wife’s grilling and cooking skills. Delicious and highly recommended. A cool place, simple and rustic.

We stayed for one night. Unfortunately, it is completely neglected, with no waste disposal and no showers. The bar is dilapidated. The owner says he has to sell and cannot maintain the place. Lots of abandoned rubbish. It might be fine for one night while passing through. Electricity is available for an additional €5 on top of the €20 price. Very expensive for what it offers.

Beautiful location, plenty of space, good home-cooked dinner, though a little expensive, and a warm welcome from Riccardo and Melina, very friendly and entertaining hosts. Four stars because of the dinner price and the numerous scrap items, some of which have probably been there for 30 years and create an impression of neglect.

We stopped for a break while heading south and were impressed by the welcome from the owner, Riccardo, who prepared an exceptional dinner together with his wife. He is truly a barbecue wizard. The place is rustic but immersed in nature and very charming, just as we like it. We will definitely return! It is best to call beforehand for directions to the entrance.

Anyone who likes things simple, uncomplicated, and very warm-hearted will feel right at home here. Thank you, Riccardo, for your BBQ skills—you are a master!

Enchanting place, peace and quiet. No motorhome services, but worth stopping to relax and meet Riccardo, the friendly, charismatic, and special owner with his BBQ, and his excellent cook of a wife. I hope to return and stay for a few days.

We arrived at 7 p.m. and met a skeptical local woman, but decided to continue along the gravel road, which was blocked halfway. We called the owner. Later, a car arrived with an Italian-speaking man. Although we tried asking in broken Italian about showers and electricity, he could not show us anything. Therefore, I removed the two services. The place looks very neglected, so we drove on.

Everything was beautiful. Family atmosphere, wonderfully natural place.

A fantastic place by the lake to relax, with electricity, Wi-Fi, and water. Riccardo and his wife are very hospitable and helpful, and cook fantastic meals on request. Very peaceful. We stayed for three days and really enjoyed it.

Ricky BBQ Passion. Despite the language barrier we were able to see how passionate Riccardo is about his beautiful island. Fantastic plot of land just off the A1. Him and his wife cooked us a beautiful pasta meal for the affordable price of 29EUR (Includes staying the night) Would highly recommend.

Magnificent tranquil and huge camper place with a cute little restaurant (very tasty freshly cooked local food) and very lovely owners. Riccardo and his wife are very helpful and welcoming hosts, who kindly assist with everything, a foreigner might need and needs to know. We spent a few days there in summer 2024 and also brought our little dog. We surely will be back.

Arrived on 06/01/2025. The place looks massively abandoned and very run-down; this condition definitely did not develop in the last few days. The final section of the approach is possible with a 7 m vehicle but challenging—narrow, steep, tight bends, and a dirt track. The horse was there, tied to a long line, and displayed stereotypical behaviour. We encountered nobody else, perhaps because it was a public holiday in Italy. We turned around.

Very peaceful stop ten minutes from the motorway. I paid €15 for 24 hours without electricity (€5 per day). The area is rustic and very quiet, with a nice pond. After dark we could hear wild boar and various other animals. Care is needed on the road during the final stretch. I will return.

Wonderful place, enchanting view of the lake. Riccardo is a delightful and very hospitable person. We spent two wonderful days immersed in nature and tranquility. There are BBQ facilities, water and waste services, and the site is mostly level. Recommended for anyone seeking peace and quiet; we will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Wonderful for a picnic with the children, recommended except for the road to get there, which is very, very gravelly. €20 regardless of how many people you are.

The aire is not necessarily pleasant on arrival because of a lot of illegal dumping, but there is a lovely large meadow and a very quiet night beside a lake. In the morning, we saw a family of wild boar. The owner gave us a very warm welcome. We did not use the facilities or eat at the restaurant. Fair price of €20 per night, cash only.

The value for money is perfect. The shower and toilet take some getting used to; everything is very basic. The operator is extremely friendly and everything feels family-run. The pinsa at the restaurant tastes excellent. Perfect for one night. €15 without electricity.

We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and received a great welcome from the owner, who positioned us so we would be in the shade in the morning. We ate at their place on the terrace; the meal was very generous. Quiet night and much cooler than on the coast. Great place.
