Riverside parking, sewage odour

It was a real pleasure to find this charming little spot with shade and a stream... BUT we left because of the nauseating smell from the nearby sewage treatment plant. Such a shame!!!

Excellent area, limited to 24 hours. Cross the submersible bridge with a 6.35 m vehicle. Lovely grassy terrain; we spent a peaceful night listening to the frogs.

During the summer months, on Sundays from 6 to 8 p.m., a farmers' market with local rural organic products appears out of nowhere in front of the church. Bread, cheese, biscuits, vegetables, hot and cold meals, young brewers with draft beer, wine, donkey-milk cosmetics. A meeting place for locals—lively, friendly, local, authentic. Thanks to the local administration for the parking area!

Many thanks to the municipality for such a great, quiet motorhome spot. The motorhome parking area is across the narrow bridge, immediately on the left. We were here alone and it was wonderfully quiet in nature.

Back after two years. A little patch of nature kindly provided free of charge by the municipality. Lovely stone bridge to cross; a 7 m vehicle can get through, otherwise there are spaces before the bridge. Not very level, but perfect with leveling blocks. Thanks...

A beautiful spot directly by the river; I find the babbling soothing. Clean toilets right nearby, and the church bells are pleasantly quiet.

Good intention, but poorly arranged for motorhomes (trees obstruct maneuvers). Above all, it is not level and full of holes. Cars pass very early in the morning.

Magnificent place to park for one night, alone in the world. Be careful crossing the small bridge: it is not very wide, but a motorhome can get across. Thanks to the municipality.

Very nice place, and having a toilet nearby is convenient. The bridge is narrow to reach the site, so it is not really suitable for larger motorhomes.

Very good spot for the night. The village is beautiful and pleasant, and the night was very quiet. Ideal playground for children, with very clean toilets nearby. Be careful: the bridge leading to the parking area is very narrow. It is possible to park just before it.

Incredible spot. Playground, book exchange box, and clean public toilets that are open! Very cute little village with the river below. Be careful not to follow Google Maps directions and, above all, do not drive under the arch in a van or truck—we nearly got stuck.

We also did not stay in the “official” parking area, but in front of the bridge. The actual parking area was too wet and unpaved. It was not a problem, though. It was very quiet.

Very suitable spot in a magnificent little village with beautiful architecture. The municipality provides a pétanque court, a football field, and more, as well as impeccably clean sanitary facilities. We can only recommend this beautiful municipality of Saint-Maurice-d'Ibie. We managed to access the parking area with a 7.50 m motorhome, but only thanks to a complicated maneuver. We slept very well. Bouygues network coverage was almost nonexistent. Nice park nearby. Thanks for this parking area.

Lovely area, but we preferred to park before the designated parking area, not because of flooding (the Ibie is dry at this time of year), but because the ground is really not stabilized. Lovely village.

Across a narrow little bridge, there is a somewhat bumpy field. Beautiful view of the village and right beside the stream. Very peaceful, with lovely walking opportunities. 24 hours is the maximum.
