Large hilltop picnic area at the San Marco chapel, offering shade, picnic tables, several water taps, and a natural setting for low-season overnight stays. The taps were turned off at the beginning of March, and the water was yellow, so it was not used for drinking. Telephone and Internet service are poor, but vehicles marked 8m passed through the lion gate.

We were able to park in the shade, which was very welcome at 34°C. Picnic tables. Numerous taps, but in the end we did not fill our drinking-water containers because the water was yellow, so we were unsure. We were alone. We managed to get through with our 8 m vehicle; do not hesitate to go through the lion-decorated gate.
