Been here?
This is a large, idyllic daytime parking area in a park, suitable for walks and lunch. New signs prohibit overnight parking, and the entrance gates are stated to close from 2000-0800. There are no facilities, while daytime visitors include walkers and a small food truck.

I have been a full-timer based in the area for five years. I have parked here once a week or every fortnight, picked up litter, talked to locals, walked the dog, and so on. I knew that once it was listed here, its days were numbered. Gutted—another regular spot lost because of P4N.
large and new-looking 'no overnight parking' signs at the entrance and at the bays. still a lovely place to stop for the day for a walk and some lunch!
I can’t rate it because the gates were closed and locked when I arrived (2200hrs). The notice on the gate says gates closed between 2000-0800.
pretty much the ideal park up but I'm commenting here to say please respect it otherwise it's going to be lost. motorhomes are dumping grey water straight onto the parking bays and taking up three spaces at a time cooking outside with tables chairs and awnings. This is recent and the locals are already grumbling.
Barriers are stated as closed between 8pm and 8am, which suited us just fine, but they weren't by 8pm. Lots of youths in cars arrived, playing football and passengers drinking. No threat or harm, but quite noisy. Superb spot for a sunset and evening meal, but we moved on for sleeping. Police patrolled this spot, so suspect some anti-social activity may go on.
Nice little spot, just be careful if you're driving a lowered van as there are some nasty speed bumps.
Arrived at 9 p.m. and the barriers were locked, so there was no entry.
Stay here for 1 night. Nice and quite. No toilets. Flat area and good internet signal.
just stayed here three nights. No trouble. A sign on the fates state they will be closed from 8pm - 8am. However, this did not happen. Great place for twitchers, dog owners, and families as a great playground and lots of areas to kick a ball about. Parking free. No facilities Spar within 10 mins and the Rev James Pub 5 mins walk.
