Viale Regina Margherita, 01010, Capodimonte
Been here?
This campsite offers pitches directly on a sandy lakeside beach, with the town centre 2 km away. The lake is exceptionally beautiful, clear and shallow for at least 50m, though weekends can become crowded with permanent caravans. Recent reports found the sanitary facilities clean but dated, with no toilet paper. One recent stay cost 94 euros for 2 nights, plus 10€ for a dog.

We stayed two nights at this campsite. The cost, €94, seemed excessive despite the lakeside pitch. The bathrooms had no toilet paper and the black-water disposal was cumbersome. Even the €10 charge for our 5 kg dog is a pointless levy. As elsewhere, they have understood the camper business and take advantage of it. Restaurant with friendly staff and good pizza, but far too thin.
Lake view sites are nice. Permanent camper spots seem dated. The lake is extremly beautiful, very nice for smaller kids as you can walk in at least 50m. Toilet and showers were totally ok.
A very good place for those wanting to relax by the lake. The water is clean and clear. Italians arrive for the weekend and it becomes crowded; many caravans are permanently stationed there. There was no soap or toilet paper in the toilets. The cost was €48 per day for two people, a tent and a car.
Pay €22 for the pitch and then €10 per person. The groundskeeper used a petrol brush cutter at 7 a.m., just 20 metres from the motorhome. The sanitary facilities are clean, but the water was cut off in the middle of my shower. The setting and beach are nice, but that is all. I do not recommend this campsite.
We felt very comfortable here. Friendly people; the sanitary facilities are old but clean. The pitches by the lake are somewhat more expensive, but absolutely worth it. The lake is simply beautiful and you can walk very far into it. The small town of Capodimonte is within walking distance. However, we found no restaurants in town. Apparently they are only along the promenade.
Very nice campsite directly by the lake. You can get pitches with direct access and a view of the lake, with plenty of shade from the mature trees in warm weather. The welcome was very friendly. Everything looks clean and well maintained. It might be fuller on weekends because of the many permanent campers, but during the week we had two very quiet nights here.
Friendly staff, very outdated campsite. Many long-term residents.
Very warm welcome. For one night in a van, we were lucky enough to sleep beside the water. The sanitary facilities are complete but somewhat dated. A memorable experience for my daughter and me. €37 for the night for two people.
Located in a perfect position, very quiet, and several pitches are directly on the beach facing the lake.
Campsite with all services and comforts on the lakeside promenade; there is also a good pizzeria at the campsite. Ideal location for a walk along the lakeside promenade towards the beautiful village of Capodimonte.
29 September 2025. We arrived after a long journey and found everything closed!
Excellent experience in the low season. We asked for a pitch with a lake view; it costs a little more but is worth it. Recommended.
Affordable pitches by the lake. Restful and quiet. The village is about 1.5 km away. Good facilities and hot showers. Suitable for swimming; the shore is soiled by geese, the only real drawback. Recommended.
Great Lake Access
Nice place directly beside the lake. We arrived without a reservation and found a spot during the week of Ferragosto. Pitches are a little small if you have a very long camper. Good restaurant and facilities. Very friendly staff.
A spectacular place. I parked the camper on the lakeshore and could watch the sunrise from my bed. I met very kind people, from the receptionist to the bar and restaurant managers. The bathrooms were always clean and there was hot water. The place is well maintained and the pitches are always shaded. I recommend visiting. The only drawback, due to the municipality, is that dogs are not allowed to swim.
