Seaside pitch, narrow reversing access

Perfect place for a night stay, BUT be careful if you a driving a big car (6+ meters), it's tricky and tight to maneuver, and you may have issues if the gravel access road is muddy. Space for only one camper.

It’s a good idea to check out the place on foot beforehand. Just before the beach, there is a small spot that is easiest to reach by reversing down the hill. Even a 7-meter vehicle fit there. Don't drive onto the beach. The campsite has a HUGE number of shells. My dog managed to cut his paw by stepping on a broken shell. Luckily, the first aid kit was enough and we didn’t need to go see a vet.

Very nice place! Little bit windy

Although this is a very beautiful place in the middle of nature, I would not recommend it for a vehicle. The ground is quite deeply rutted and looks as though several people have already got stuck. Better to park up at the rest area and walk down for a break.

Great spot, BUT in rainy or wet weather the ground becomes so muddy that it is almost impossible to get out without help. Please check the spot beforehand and make sure you can get out again.

A dream of a spot. However, it is too small for our 6.80 m panel van. If you push it, you can probably get in with a large vehicle, but you need sufficient ground clearance. Unfortunately, we had to move on.

Beautiful spot, exactly one camper fits.

Dreamlike isolated spot for a car or small van directly by the sea with a view of the mountains. Several fire pits, also used by locals, but enough space to keep out of each other's way. There is also a rubbish container at the parking bay above, so you can dispose of your rubbish immediately. Perfect parking spot.

A great place to spend the night. We stayed here with our rooftop tent and were very well sheltered despite the wind. The approach was rather narrow with our pickup but manageable. However, check beforehand whether the spot is free. While we were staying here, two campers came by and almost could not make it back up.

One of the most beautiful places we have had in Norway so far :) But people, take your rubbish with you and above all do not leave piles of poop behind! Ever heard of a folding shovel?

Perfect spot right by the water. A really beautiful view. 200 m from the road but not a sound. Very peaceful night. I would call it the “solo spot” because realistically there is only one place. Recommended mainly for vans and panel vans (our L2H2 fitted without any problem), as the road is narrow and there is little room to turn around at the bottom. There is a nice place to make a fire when it is not raining :)

Lots of mosquitoes and you have to maneuver a little to get out. In the rain it may be difficult because of the mud. But we liked it because you can stand here completely alone.
