Free seafront parking, daytime road noise

Stayed for 1 night in one of the sea front parking spaces. Very peaceful night listening to the waves. Food Shop, chip shop and toilets within minutes walking distance.

Superb stopover right on the beach and very quiet for a Friday night in June. Lovely walks along the beach and we had to pop in to the nearby pub, the excellent Poachers Retreat for a shandy or two! And if you don’t fancy parking on the road, the pub will allow you to use their car park for £10 per night and you can then actually park facing the sea. They had quite a few takers so good for them!

Arrived just gone 10 at night managed to park up at side of the road. Little road noise at night. Next morning road was really bizzy so noisy. Great view of beach out window. Some save there was parking further down but did not bother trying with it being dark and late. May 28th

Wow, what a place. Amazing sea view and lots of space. On road but flat and not massively busy. Lovely little seaside town, fish & chips for tea!

Had 1 night on 12th Sep. Arrived about 6pm, lots of spaces left along the side of the road and about 4 on the end that could park facing the beach. As expected there was traffic noise throughout the night, was woken a few times to vehicles going past what sounded like VERY fast. Toilets close at 7, open up again about 7/8AM. The fish & chip shop was delicious and accept card. Amazing for free! ⭐️

Unable to park in the off-road parking spaces, so parked on the beach road running along the sea front along with other MoHos, campers, and cars. This is not a problem when you get parked. Great fish and chip shop, a store, a great beach. The only issue is that the beach is dog free except at both ends in summer, but locals ignore the ban. Recommend the off-road and on-road parking.

We parked here this week and was informed by a local councillor that the parking along this road is being stopped! Individuals are leaving rubbish and using the outside of their vans as a toilet, even though a public toilet is on this road. Narrow minded individuals have now ruined this parking place for others.

Wow what a stunning place, also local pub, shop, toilets during the day and a chippy.

Overnighter on the roadside, quiet and hassle free after 10pm to 6am. However, outside these times the road was very busy. Would use one of the 6 off road marked bays south end or pub north end next time as felt a bit exposed. Toilets, chippy/ice cream, shop and pub, with a wash me laundrette a mile up the coast. Great sea view and set my alarm for supurb sunrise.

2nd visit but in our new van this time. We managed to secure 1 of the larger bays up on the pavement along with 2 others end on to the sea but i imagine they would go quickly in high season. However there are loads of free parking spaces along the main road. Stormy weather but peaceful apart from that. clean public toilet 100m open 7am to 7pm , local shop which is a bonus. Great spot will return

lovely place, however the carpark had been blocked up by 2 large motorhomes and a campervan! They left a car space between each other and one motorhome was really to large to be there, the other was parked on thevplease do not block on the ground! A local said he was going to complain to the council so don't be surprised if you turn up and it's no overnight parking signs put up there.

One of the only free park ups in Norfolk parked on roadside against the sea wall very little traffic through night, does get busy in the morning with people visiting the beach public toilets, shop, fish shop cafe all within walking distance, would definitely stay here again.

You are basically parking right in front of people’s homes. Not for us so we moved on when we visited in May.

It is very difficult to find a spot here. In high season it is full of cars. The whole road and parking area are full. We had to wait until 8:30 p.m. to get a spot. But we eventually succeeded. Beautiful place, but you need to be patient.✦Translating

Great spot right on the sea- a few campervans and motorhomes but lots of space. Fish and chip shop which is excellent and they allow dogs inside. Shop and pub. Some passing traffic at night but gets busier on the road from about 7am. Everyone seems quite happy for us to be there in our campervan.

We stayed here for two consecutive nights because it is really beautiful! Since you park directly beside the road, it is quite loud when cars pass—especially lorries—but at night the road was not very busy. The public toilets are clean and open from 8:30 a.m. until around 7 p.m.✦Translating

this place is gorgeous, very friendly as long as you're respectful! one point, even though Google says the toilets are 24hrs, they aren't, they opened about 8am... lovely spot though, we'll be back!

We spent a lovely night here. There’s plenty of room for vans/motorhomes and it seems very camper friendly (which we found unusual for the Norfolk coast) There is some traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us at all. I think police patrol here but they seem fine with us all being here. The locals are all friendly and all the dogs walkers said good morning! Lovely little place and worth a stay to wake up beside the sea.
