Chemin de la Souffel, 67800, Bischheim
Been here?
Large lakeside parking with shaded spaces and direct access to the 80km Forts cycle route around Strasbourg via Germany. The entrance is no wider than 2.20m, making access unsuitable for wider vehicles. Swimming is possible, and toilets and a cold outdoor shower have been available during the day. Overnight parking is not permitted, and evenings, especially Fridays and weekends, can be very noisy with loud music and many visitors.

Perfect for eating and having a swim, with plenty of shaded parking. But overnight stays are not allowed; the app itself warns you.
Good place for an overnight stay if it is not Friday or the weekend. Beware: the access road is actually no wider than 2.20 m!
The parking area is large and spacious. We parked at 10 p.m. at the end of a lane. When we arrived there was loud music, but as the night progressed the situation deteriorated: cars with music blasting came and parked very close to the vans. In short, we did not feel safe and moved to another place at 2 a.m. There are better places elsewhere!
A parking area beside a lake with a cold outdoor shower and toilets that were open during the day. At night during the week it was very noisy; many people came to the parking area to play loud music from their cars. There are also many mosquitoes.
Beautiful location and Lake to swim in. But way too much activity in the parking area at night. We felt unsafe during the night (We were there on a saturday night).
Woken at 2 a.m. by some young people who parked right next to us with their music blasting. We had to pack up and go elsewhere. Otherwise, access by van is no problem.
We were there late on Saturday evening and it was still quite loud, with music coming from several directions. However, because we arrived so late, it stopped around 2 a.m., so we were able to sleep well. This is something to bear in mind at weekends. Overall, a very beautiful place. We felt comfortable and jumped straight into the lake the next morning, which was wonderfully clear.
