Shaded viewpoint, busy daytime

Very beautiful, spacious area, quiet apart from a few paragliders or hikers passing by, with plenty of room. It is the last in a series of parking areas on Mont Poupet and offers a beautiful clearing at sunrise with picnic tables, but less shade than the previous one and close to a telecommunications antenna. The easiest thing is to look at each parking area on the way up and choose.

Large, peaceful area in the middle of nature. There is some traffic during the day and evening, but afterward it becomes a haven of peace. Great walks and an excellent viewpoint for sunset. Also a wonderful cool place to spend the night during hot weather.

lovely serene spot. bins, picnic benches. a paragliding spot, and bike park, so can be busy at times. for quieter more private shady spots head down the hill to any of the other car parks. for us this was perfect. thankyou!

It was quiet at night, but many cars drive directly past the parking area during the day. There are two bins on site. Unfortunately, the bike park was very muddy and slippery because of the rain.

Magnificent spot. Four of us slept here; it is a paragliding launch site. We stopped for one night—very peaceful and quiet. Please keep it clean after you leave. Thank you.

We stayed just around the corner at the entrance of the big field, some distance from the picnickers and it was perfect. There is some cars passing during the day, especially the van of the parapente school. The evening and the night, however, is was silent. I. The morning we were all alone. Well, with the singing birds…

Spacious area with several possible spots. Some locals come to picnic and barbecue in the evening, but it is quiet afterward. Birds singing when you wake up.

Several areas are available all along the climb up Mont Poupet. At the very top there is a fairly large, quiet area with walking trails.

Lovely open area for sleeping and picnicking. Beautiful walks nearby, with the possibility of watching paragliders take off.

A magical place… yes, you have to climb, and climb… but waking up in the morning at the summit, in the middle of the forest, is an incomparable pleasure.

Great spot during the week and in October—absolute peace and quiet.
