Beautiful place, a pleasant spot to enjoy the lake! There is a 2.20 m barrier. Plenty of spaces even in July.
There is a 2.20 m barrier. The only place at the lake where motorhomes can stay overnight is the designated area; the other lake car parks also had barriers. In addition, the area was full, so we had to sleep in the corners.
Beautiful spot, but unfortunately there is a 2.20 m barrier, which was not mentioned. We nevertheless have a van! We are leaving.
During the week, not too crowded; a nice little quiet place to sleep. By the lake, you can swim, and there are beaches and benches.
Good van spot. Quite a few spaces if you continue past the small car park shown in the photo. Easy access to the shore, with several grassy areas and shade under the pine trees. Quiet night. Many people on the weekend of 14 July, but enough space for everyone. Overnight stays not prohibited. Breathtaking lake view for a morning swim, paddleboarding or a short run.
Magnificent spot with lovely walks nearby, but beware: the height barrier has been installed. Large vans and motorhomes cannot get through.
Superb spot facing Lake Matemale! Very beautiful sunset. Quiet! Closed in July and August.
Very beautiful place, but because of disturbances the municipality will very likely restrict access to vehicles equipped with sanitary facilities. Many dogs are not kept on leads. What a shame... It is always the same: the lack of respect and civic-mindedness of some people penalizes us all.
We spent the day but did not sleep there. The barrier is open at this time of year. Near the lake, with picnic tables and a barbecue in front.
Very beautiful spot, ideal for fishermen. Quiet in this season; summer is probably more complicated. Magnificent view of Les Angles in the morning sunlight. You can walk around the lake, about 13 km. There is a barrier at the entrance, but it is currently open.
Beautiful place with a great panorama and many cycling and hiking routes.
7.5mtr A’Class. Height barrier open. Easily accessible, arrived Saturday afternoon and got last spot possible. Emptied out Sunday and we had it to ourselves. No bins around the lake, some on the entrance road. Aire around the other side if services needed.
A beautiful place. Many thanks to the authorities for lifting the height restriction during the low season. We hope other motorhome users will acknowledge this appropriately.
Lovely spot, very quiet even though there are people; there is enough space! You can continue a little farther along the path to find beautiful views of the lake. Be careful with your animals and yourselves as the area is infested with ticks.
Excellent location right on the lake for a nice sunset view abd a quite sleep to another beautiful wake up view as well. Bbq places, excellent. Hight limit removed at the moment of writing
Great quiet spot facing the lake, with several spots along the shore. 9 km to walk all the way around, and it is a nice walk. No bins. Tables and barbecues available. Apparently, locals call this area Little Canada.
Great place by the lake. Very well-known spot locally, with vans, motorhomes and campers. Quiet at night, when the neighbours are quiet.
Beautiful and peaceful place. We only stopped for a while.
2 m height barrier, impossible for us.
Height barrier; we cannot even stop to visit the lake. We have a 6 m long, 2.8 m high campervan.
Pleasant, with barbecues and tables. You can spend the night.
Very beautiful, quiet place. Barrier; large vehicles prohibited.
Lake, forest, mountains, walks, views, landscape... fabulous.
Excellent place, pleasant and quiet that night. The view is a pleasure.
The place was full, so we settled a little farther away. Magnificent setting and quiet place; we slept well. A special motorhome area is open on the other side of the lake; the 2.10 m barrier was not there.
Thank you to the town hall for allowing free parking day and night. However, it is shameful that nowadays some people still confuse a car park with a toilet!
Night of April 23, 2025. Very clean place with a magnificent view of Lake Matemale and the mountains. There are barbecues and picnic tables.
Very beautiful view, barbecue area and benches available, garbage bins along the road.
Perfect place to spend the night, or even a couple of days. As mentioned, access is not possible from July 1 to August 31. Very peaceful, with running and cycling routes.
Beautiful spot with a view of the lake and mountains. Very quiet. Height barrier only from July 1 to August 31. Picnic table and barbecue available; bring a grill grate. Garbage bins available in the nearby housing development. Thanks to the municipality for allowing us to park here... fellow motorhome users, respect the place...
Beautiful view, nice place. An 8 m motorhome is no problem.
