Camping La Capricieuse

A new facility with many mobile homes and 10 camping pitches. Each has its own washroom, which is genuinely excellent. But otherwise we were very disappointed. For €170 for 2 nights, we expected more space (pitch 9 was the smallest), nicer surroundings (only gravel and not a single blade of grass), and a disposal facility for grey water and chemical toilets.✦Translating

A quality service, admittedly not cheap but with an exotic setting, all services in the town centre and by the sea. Worth doing once!✦Translating

Pretty campsite, clean, with good amenities and grounds. Great play areas for children. Of the 10 pitches dedicated to motorhomes (all with private sanitary facilities, barbecue, and Wi-Fi, but at the back of the campsite, fairly small and overlooking the utility building), we paid €88 for one night for two adults. I looked at all the pitches and campsites in the surrounding area. Absolutely unacceptable. With great luck, we got a pitch for one night for €53 in the low season. We would have liked to stay longer, but that was impossible. The site is suitable for relaxing, with a great pool area and first-class restaurant, and it is close to the beach, but there are more beautiful beaches in Normandy.✦Translating

This is more glamping than camping! Only 9 pitches remain, but they have private sanitary blocks. Close to the beach. Otherwise nicely done, but expensive.✦Translating

Very wide and long pitches. Easy access. Private sanitary facilities on each pitch with indoor shower, toilet, and sink, plus an outdoor dishwashing area and hairdryer. Electricity is fine. Heated indoor and outdoor pools. Great welcome. Brand-new campsite. Very good restaurant.✦Translating

Campsite renovated from top to bottom, perfect welcome. Everything for families: pool, bouncy castle, children’s games, and pitches with private sanitary facilities (toilet, shower, sink). Close to the beach and shops!✦Translating
