Dockyard parking, camping prohibited

Parking in a dead-end street among factories. No services, nothing to do there.

great place in kristiansand to stop by before or after your ferry trip back to/from denmark. it has BEAUTIFUL little cliff area with an amazing view over the fjord - we enjoyed a stunning breakfast here! keep in mind that this parking lot is also used by the workers of the dockyard right next to it, so it can get a little awkward.

Great quiet place at night to start your journey. We arrived at 1am at night and were only one motor home who was there. Later on one more arrived. Can park 6-7 easily

A parking lot on the island. It would be good if only one or at most two smaller motorhomes stood there, leaving enough space for the employees and keeping it quiet and beautiful with the skerries.

No prohibition signs are needed, because the parking lot obviously belongs to the shipyard premises. From 6 a.m., shipyard workers arrive to park there. It is therefore best to have left by then; otherwise a no-parking sign will soon be installed.

Very quiet, about 10 minutes from Kristiansand. Space for around 10 cars/motorhomes. Shipyard employees apparently also park there early.

Very quiet and secluded. In the morning, you can walk 15 meters to the cliffs, have a lovely breakfast and admire the sunrise. A free visit to the nearby shipyard is also recommended. Every day, without registration or a guided tour, you can go directly into the dry dock and see the old ships.

Good place for one night after or before the ferry. We parked next to the red house in front of the boat, which proved useful because the other spaces are used by shipyard employees during the week. Beautiful view of the bay, but lots of noise early in the morning.
