Day parking, overnight ban

Nice picnic spot, but sleeping there is no longer possible. (There are no visible signs.) The municipal police told us that the prohibition applies throughout Fontenay-le-Comte. What a shame...

Fine for a daytime stop, perhaps! Avoid spending the night there; it is a nocturnal meeting place.

We did not stay overnight; we did not feel safe at all with our two children. Suspicious people were hanging around and seemed to be scouting our motorhome.

Large green, shaded area. Ideal for a stop with children.

Nice little spot, flat ground, perfect with children, a large green area with playground, picnic table, barbecue and toilet. The only drawback is that the bin must be too far away for some people... what a shame. But I highly recommend it.

Quiet spot, with lovely morning sunshine in winter that melted the ice from our windshield ;) Nice park for a walk. We stood in the parking area by the fountain, with plenty of space and fairly level ground! Several trash bins in the park. We did not check whether water filling or waste disposal was available. Good 4G internet.
